Pairing this with a wireless midi adapter you could use a wireless foot control for patch changes or have it into your laptop for midi timeline changes what a time we live in
Hey man thanks for the review video....Which poweramp pedal is that it looks sick. also is a poweramp pedal actually required with prime p2 or is the prime p2 good on its own?
Derryl cameo for the win :) Sounds really good. I feel like everybody needs this exact setup as a backup for live. It could totally cover in a pinch and fit in your guitar case
Real life feedback : it's sooo good as a main rig. I recommend to load your own IR inside and it's ridiculously how this tiny thing can give you this sound. I just plug directly in the mix
Everything sounds perfect! I have a question, critical for me:In the modulation effects family does it contain any harmonist? I need to play live harmonized lines!!
@TaylorDanley I don't have any experience with compact devices like this so I was just curious, is there a reason I see most people using these types of rigs with a power amp? Is it possible to go straight into a powered speaker like an FRFR speaker? Thanks
That's sounds awesome I have p1 and the foot switch it's my practice rig for when I'm working out of town I just take headphones and a guitar my normal rig is Martribox 2 and it does all that but that is neat I'll probably buy one 😂just cause I have guitar guitar pedal tone chasing addiction 🤘🏼🤙🎸
Taylor, you mention a PC Editor. I am not finding any reference to this on the Mooer pages - just a PC app for loading IRs, saving and retrieving presets from the cloud. Can this app also be used to edit patches? Mine has been ordered but not arrived yet so I can't check. Cheers. Allan
What's your favorite budget friendly preamp or distortion pedal currently? Like for an analog version of this type of rig, a super compact high gain loud rig without having to mess with a bunch of digital stuff
Can it be connected to charger (and charging) while being used at the same time? Same question for the Foot Switch, can i use it and charge it at the same time (if i forget to charge it or something)
Hey, did you figure out why the MNRS files have such a high output? When I loaded them onto my S801, the output was just insanely high. Even when I turned down the volume.
I’ve been looking at a portable rig between this and the ampero 2. Is this something worth getting and can function in a live setting or is the ampero just more worth it?
The description on thomann does mention bass, but couldn’t find any other confirmation so my guess is, not at the moment. Hope they’ll add it in an update. And in a way that doesn’t require switching modes from the app, it’s annoying on the p1. But better than not having it. I’ll just wait until they add a bass mode.
Would this thing work as a viable live rig? I’d like to start downsizing as much as possible since my band will most likely start playing out of state shows relatively soon, and I don’t want to have to lug a giant head and potentially a cabinet to every space I go to 😆
@@metallicaspiker16 you don't need anything else besides that really, I was a bit confused on why he had a cabinet pedal but I guess it's his preference. The prime comes with both amp and cabinet options so you can plug straight into the PA with no issues. I'd recommend using balanced sounding headphones when you mess around with it to get a good idea on how they sound on stage (moondrop chu 1/2 or Sennheiser 400s wired) pretty much it tbh
Just got my hands on a Seymour Duncan PowerStage 170 to go with this. All I have to do now is just figure how to wire everything up to a cab. Maybe I’m stupid, but it looks like guitar -> Mooer -> Power Amp -> speaker cabinet?
I had the prime p1, but was disappointed by the sound quality came out of the headphone jack. music sounded horrible. I hope this time they put a decent audio component on this p2

I gotta say I was all meh until you mentioned being able to download new amps, at this price point that is a massive feature!
Good Bye Kemper😂

hahah you caught it
@@DerrylVi Almost 1000 subs! This just scored you a bunch 😁
I want to unironically make this my go to rig for live situations(with the foot switch of course).

@@Jerrydetonfail88 It is? Oh shit
@@_vez yes load your own IR. run it through the effects loopp of ur amp, skip the pre amp, u got whatever rig u want.
Did I miss something on that poweramp pedal? What is it?
This heavy earth, higher power.
So this thing has all the capability of the x2 pedals loading profiles? I’m sold
wow i was pretty surprised by this. sounds amazing
I love this approach to rigs.
I was considering selling my kemper to use pedal based rigs, but for now ill keep it for the double-tracking feature.
Hi @taylordanley Ive heard of and experience some bad noise issues with the P2 and the looper is almost unuseable. Anyone else had the same?
Everything sounds perfect!
I have a question, critical for me:In the modulation effects family does it contain any harmonist?

Can you put this through the power amp in on a boss katana?? Thinking on purchasing.
Nice.
The red and green light stripe in the middle is "chugometer" chug indicator? 😊
You know it's weird, I thought maybe it was an input clipping light, but if it is... it's way to sensitive lol.

@@allboutthemojo yes you can use with FRFR or headphones or any other powered speakers.
@alidalkus3853 yes. I'm aware that it can be used that way. My question was, what is the purpose or benefit of using it with a power amp
@@allboutthemojo for my experience the sound quality is better with tube amp+ bigger cabin
This looks so fn cool! I have the Mooer Tube Engine and i’m wondering how good this will sound through that.

Looks and sounds nice. I love the Boss Pocket Gt.
Cheers from Portugal 🤘🍺🇵🇹
Nice video - Does this have FX such as Wah, Whammy etc, and can you control the parameters with an expression pedal, via MIDI?

can i use for bass ?

What to Choose: mooer p2 or mooer ge200?
So is this like a DI box? Or just a multi fx tool?
did they fix that annoying noise that come from screen ? or we must use denoiser all time

Damn, that shit sounded good........
Is there is a way to have the cab sim enabled in the headphones output but disabled in the output that goes to the power amp?

как эту штуковину с ПК подружить? Можно ли DI писать с обработанным сигналом на разные дорожки в DAW одновременно?
No firmware for bass guitar yet like the P1 has? Need that split. Is the P1 still best for bass?
