Matt's charisma is one of the things that make seeing Muse live so entertaining. You never know what he's gonna do, lmao. And yeah, they're English.

i was at this gig! I was right near the front, absolutely amazing set that night - you should check knights of cydonia from that same gig, i lost my voice and got absolutely battered in the pits, but i'd do it all again if i was given the chance!

in some of the performances you cannot tell if Matt is screaming or the electric guitar. their performances are a practise in flawless energy and consumate musicianship .you forget where you are and your body leans to their Siren call. my lungs inflate and my response to their call leaves me replete. it's a marathon standing in one spot.their musical ability is a tribute to the artists they respect and are inspired by.

When they play live, they rift hard! That's why they are better live than studio
Peak Muse. Double necked guitar, headless bass played by beatlejuice. Sparkling suit for Matt. A Fleur-de-lis drumkit. This is a band at their peak.
This gig was unreal, so glad I was able to go. At the start they had a bunch of people walk through the crowd with huge flags. And the stage was crazy.
"As an older person listening to this, you can change", hahaha! When I discovered Muse in 2000, I was 30! Now I'm 52. One thing for sure, I will not ever change my love for Muse and now you know why I guess. Keep on reviewing their songs, like it a lot!

Uprising was opening the show, and it started (before this video starts) with a sort of a riot, people entering the stadium with megaphones, flags, masks, pyros, panels & stuff, so impressive while being not far from the barriers!
This song was released the year after the financial crisis and the album was based off George Orwells 1984 novel. So yeah a very political album, even more so than other albums
If you want the greatest sensation of all time, listen " Map Of The Problematique " live at Wembley (Live HAARP) 👌

One thing you have to realise is that Muse are often simultaneously taking the piss whilst playing brilliant music.
There's just so much good music from Muse, you are going to have fun. Look at something like Knights of Cydonia or Plug In Baby from the Live in Rome concert if you want to get a good stadium vibe. You'll have 10 people give you 5 different songs each due to there being so many good ones.

They formed the band in Devon. Check out hysteria, hyper music, new born, citizen erased, the handler, butterflies and hurricanes. These are all bangers and there are so many more :)
You really can pick out any song from that concert if not the bloody lot.

My suggestion for your next Muse reaction is Survival, live at Rome Olympic Stadium. It's the official song of the London 2012 Olympics. A true champion!😁
The synthy part IS really a bit like DW, the 'spooky' ,'sc-ifi' feel is out there for sure. In the creating of video Matt even said the effect reminds him of a UFO. 😄

Muse is one of the bands my mom introduced me to as a child and since coming out as a queer person this hits just a little different and just that much harder for me

they are 🔥🔥 live, I was at this tour, in the Netherlands, seem them live like 5 times, then they made madness and went the wrong way IMO, but glad they are back with wont stand down ✌
