This one is Presto, stainless steel. There are different designs of pressure cookers, yours maybe different. On its bottom or somewhere else on the body, there maybe a UL written, which further ensures that the pressure cooker has been tested by UL Laboratories and found to be safe. This UL certification is available on most household items & electronics that are very safe. This is common in the US, I am not sure about other parts of the world though.
