Also, once again I’m pleasantly surprised by how easy you make it to actually do these things. I’ve read so many permaculture books and done some of the mapping and yet I never actually got my base map out and drew the zones before. But then I paused this video and just got it done.
That's really great to hear Amanda. :) It does take a bit of time to do but once you have your maps they can be easily added to and used to make decisions or even just to inspire action by putting them on the wall.
In the US you can fill out an online form that you’re going to be digging, and all the utilities are obligated to send someone to mark where lines and pipes are underground.
