I've bought many different fake Lego figures to build armies with, and the Napoleonic figures are probably the best printed and best quality I've ever purchased. The newer officer set and more recently the Russian sets are amazing also. I do hope they continue to make new units, such as more french specialists like Voltiguers, British cavalry and officers, as well as other nations like Prussia and Austria, and maybe even some more obscure troops such as the Swedish, Portuguese or Polish
Exactly! They are such good quality for the price. I'm really excited to see what they bring out next. I've asked about British Cavalry, and they look like they will happen but have "other European armies to release first". Prussians and Austrians are my next guesses!
@@QuackingFilms Great that you've been able to get in contact with them! Prussians and Austrians are definitely the next logical choices, but there's so much possibility. Even though they are cheap I feel as though I may still end up spending alot of money if they carry on making them
@@TheWilloBee10 Haha you and me both! I think I'm going to end up collecting the whole set, and then a few armies worth. My wallet is preparing it's defence against the arrival of the Prussians!
They should do Spanish too, their contribution to the Coalition victory was probably even above Prussia's
Thanks for your excellent reviews of this series of figures. My first battalion of French line arrived the other day, and I was mightily impressed. if only the pom-pom sprues were available seperately in different colours for each company!
Glad you like them! They really are excellent. I just got the Russian and Prussian troops, so hope to pop up a review of them very soon!

How striking! These Minifigures are lovely i cannot imagine how wonderful they would look together in a huge battle.
If you are unaware of british plume colours, Regular line companies would wear the white over red, Grenadier Companies would wear the full white, and light company would wear green plumes, easily all swappable for your choice. addittionally you could use the swiss grenadiers bearskin as a cap for the royal welsh fusiliers in britain, or the grenadier guards at waterloo after they picked up the bearskins off the dead french grenadiers of the old guard. cant wait for new videos, all the beat to you!
Thank you - that's one of the things I've noticed and was going to mention in the next video -its an easy swap for those who want that last bit of accuracy - or just enjoy a unit of Grenadiers 🙂. Great points about the bearskin caps! Glad you enjoyed it and I'll post more soon!
@@QuackingFilms Thank you very much, looking forward to new videos!
@@QuackingFilms Its always good to be enthusiastic about history, something most schools sadly forget.
This is amazing these are the best Lego Napoleonic wars figure’s ever
Look great!
I love this video I bought 10 of all of these and I watched it like 30 time , great video
Thank you! They are lovely figures and the range keeps growing! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Whoa, these look amazing.
They are! 🙂 The British Fusilier and Sergeant review is up on my channel at the moment. More to come!
Cool
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I got a bunch with your affiliate link, thanks so much your vid, will for sure check out the blog.
Thank you! They are great so I'm sure you'll enjoy them! Things have been a bit crazy recently, but I'm hoping to get a review of Russians and Prussians that have arrived for me recently up soon 🙂. Enjoy!!
These figures are amazing. So smooth, very good detail. Just one thing I noticed is that the gun trigger is a bit to big so they cannot fire the gun straight so you may have to put it at an angle.
Nice Video
Thank you!
Here you can see how a French army look like
great figures
I just bought some of them, 16 French Figs.
Now that’s awesome to know they’re actually accurate
The Blog is Awesome btw
That's awesome! You'll love them! They are really good and the things you can do to get them even more accurate are really minor, like swapping the plume or removing the epaulettes - they are definitely the most accurate figures you can get in big numbers at the price and the printing is great! You'll love them when they arrive 🙂
If you purchase these Figures from smaller sites like Chinese sites like taobao the price can drop down to 0.3 pounds.
i use Aliexpress for all my army building from knights , starwars , pirates, thunder cats and many more they are good for display in your mocs or just as they are and always good prices same with food parts and other items
It is an excellent place to buy stuff cheap if you are happy with that method. I feel more comfortable when it's something LEGO don't make themselves, like these, ww2, and custom knights etc. I think people who've never used Aliexpress would be surprised at the quality of figures like these 🙂
@@QuackingFilms thats right they are a bit more work like putting the hands in the arms and then to the torso but when your building an arm for alot less then it would cost with lego ill take the extra work any time , plus you can find some great bulk sellers for filling out your mocs i even have an army of cows (30 for $30) so i was happy with that
lol
Damn they look nice I’d probably buy a lot of them but I don’t really have the space for them or anything to do with them
Haha it is so tempting to create entire regiments at the price! As an animator I'm trying to limit myself to the most I would possibly get in one camera shot, so regiments of 20-30 are probably my realistic limit - but that's still a good number!
Ye probably though if u really wanted an excuse to buy more u could birds eye view shots and fit more like 60
@@QuackingFilms I’d say just refer to the 20 to 30 men as a company instead of a regiment itd still be realistic that way, despite companies being a bit bigger.
But my question is that is aliexpress trustworthy or like was it risky? Plus nice video 🙂
Thank you. I have never had any problems with AliExpress - they are individual sellers so just check the reviews of each one, and there is a dispute centre if you run into any problems with your order 🙂 - there's a bit of a sale on across the website currently so worth a try around now if you've not used it before!
I have bought 322 soldiers bc
Thanks 🙏🏻 you have made me but them and they look better than the united bricks one
Thanks now I have made a big army with 322 soldiers
Amazing! Glad you're excited for them! Be sure to share pics of your new army on the Napoleonic Bricks Blog Facebook page and the LEGO Napoleonic Minifigures Facebook Group 🙂 Enjoy!!
@@QuackingFilms sure!
@@QuackingFilms also I am planning to buy 50 more Russian and swedish
how do I just get the French fusiliers without an officer, that is cheap?
I actually found a seller that sells 50 of these soldiers for about $40 usd.
I bought two French line infantry and I have only had one problem which is the bayonet because I do not know how to put it on :(
It should clip to the very end of the musket - the bit which is thinnest of the barrel 🙂
Thanks! I got the bayonet to fit on the musket. Turns out, the clip were you attach the bayonet to the musket was a little big so I just had to make it a little bit smaller with my hands.
Do you know which of these would work in a pirates theme?
It depends how time period specific/realistic you want to be. They would all look great, but the uniforms are a bit late for the 1650s-1730 Golden Age of Piracy. I believe that the French would also have been in white at that time rather than blue. If you're going down the route of LEGO Classic Pirates however, they are a bit all over the place timewise, as the Shakos worn by the Imperials are from the Napoleonic Period, and the Bicorne hat also is a later development. So if you'd be happy to have Bluecoats and Redcoats wearing those, there's probably nothing wrong with the rest of this range being used! I think the Italian Light Infantry would be an amazing way to build a force of "Greencoats" to face off against your red and bluecoats from the LEGO pirates theme :)
Perhaps we can connect as we have the same passion
Wow you have an impressive army!!
So if it says “16pcs”, does that mean it comes with 16 mini figs or 16 pieces?
16 models 🙂. Great value!
Thank you!

Lego is overrated. The Chinese are making some of the highest quality minifig alternatives out there.
Incredibly high quality! I personally don't have a problem buying "fake LEGO" when it's a product like this that LEGO do not make themselves. This is an entirely new design that they've put a lot of effort into making accurate and high quality, so it's not a stolen design like most would assume from AliExpress. As my own interests become more specific (like the Napoleonic Wars) as I get older, LEGO Compatible becomes the way to meet those needs more and more 😅
do the legs move?
yes very well
