Harmonics in J.B. Accolay Violin Concerto

  • This is my approach to the harmonics in measures 68, 65 and 37. I’m going in reverse because I think 68 is easiest and 37 is hardest. The music isn’t needed though, the concept of having the hand in 3rd position with the 4th finger extended is the point I’m attempting to make. Thanks for watching!

    Great camera work and good explanations. Always struggle with getting that "pop" up there for some of the folks tunes I play. Until I stumbled upon just tossing the finger up like your hand movement shows. Helps with the light yet deliberate touch to get the harmonic to sing. Thanks, professor! 👍
