Hi Jason. I have a 2012 Outback. Had it for 4yrs, and with 12yrs old factory lens' that would not stay cleaned up, I needed to replace both headlight assemblies. You know, I did the same thing. After installation, I looked for beam adjustment videos first. I guess I could have consulted my manual but thats not what the "kids" do these days. Crazy that there are TONS of install vids, yet no one talks about beam adjustment. Mind boggling.
So I just wanted to be the first guy to say "THANK YOU" for making this vid. We both know its not a Hollywood production, but your information is solid, helpful, and clear to the point. Exactly what we need. Thanks again!

I agree with this method even though it initially
looks more involved and intimidating. I’ve had to change my lightbulbs on my 2014 Subaru Outback twice in less than 2 years and trying to get things aligned going through the mud flap by the tires is so difficult. Like 5 or 6 hours to change the low beams and my arms were bruised. It seems like it ought to be easy to get the pin aligned and such but it is not. I will take the front skirt off next time.
