    I love your videos. I am in the midst of a career change and found you via the online course I am enrolled in for business analysis. This particular video here is so relatable to me right now as I leave my full time profession to pursue my passions. I had not considered using mind mapping for life decisions, but what a great way to deal with the unknown elements that are creating risk/anxiety! Your videos are really interesting and helpful.

    I really enjoyed this walkthrough. I do have a question about tech for mind mapping. Should I use a pen and paper approach or a tablet? For instance, I've been thinking of getting a SAMSUNG SM-P610 Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, but then I wonder if I might get better results if I just used a large sketchpad. In other words, what would help me get into a flow state when mind mapping?

  • @EnricoOzone

    It is a very nice and helpful video ! Right now I am grappling with the question if I should change job. I love my current job but the work atmosphere as become toxic. Is it worth leaving a job I love to ... keep my mental health in the long run ? This basically the question I am mind-mapping !

    • @ShengHuang
      @ShengHuang  2 роки тому +1

      I think our mental health is second only to our physical health and a toxic job environment that's erodes either is simply not worth it and inhibits our long term growth. I hope the mind mapping exercise will reveal a few findings that will help you make that ultimately very personal decision my friend.

    With a cancer diagnosis and the not knowing if it will return, I’m quitting my current job and using my savings to pursue my passion. However, you have inspired me to take some cautionary steps should I live longer than my savings. Lol Have you considered giving up ownership of a car? That would save a ton of money.

    • @ShengHuang
      @ShengHuang  2 роки тому +1

      Dionysus, that's certainly an inflection point in your life. There are only so many decisions we can map out logically. For the rest, we can only live into the answers. You might find this video helpful: ua-cam.com/video/Jyw59Wrhqso/v-deo.html.
      As for the car, unfortunately I love road trips and getting out into nature too much to give it up!

    • @lilithlives
      @lilithlives 2 роки тому

      @@ShengHuang I totally get that. I miss road trips in the US. Plan on at least one in the next year. I actually started my journey out of conventionalism 16 years ago and so glad I did. You never know when you may stare down the barrel of your mortality. Thanks for the reply and I hope your journey is as amazing as mine has been and continues to be. I just got stuck for a while and then my diagnosis woke me up.
