- The Eagles orchestrated the greatest offseason in recent NFL history by spending over $400 million in free agency and drafting some of the best talent this past April. Eagles GM Howie Roseman was the architect behind an Eagles rebuild that should not have been possible. Yet after coming off an embarrassing Wildcard loss to the Bucs this past season, the Eagles somehow landed Saquon Barkley, CJ Gardner-Johnson and a load of Draft talent. I cannot remember an NFL offseason this great and the Eagles are now set up to win a Super Bowl this season.

Maybe tbh. Howie is a genius. Tough call though. Since I'm only 14, it's the best I've personally seen, but not sure if it's the best all time.

The one thing that we all need to be prepared for is that it doesn’t matter if Jalen has an MVP caliber season everyone will say “it’s because of Saquon and all the talent around him” he’ll never get the credit because people have made their minds up about him. When we’re good, it’s because of everyone else.. when we’re bad, it’s because of Jalen.

I'm not calling VF and KM bad, but "really good" coordinators don't get let go from teams after one season. Dolphins are AFC playoff contenders, if Fangio was "really good", why wouldn't they keep him around to help against powerhouses like BAL, KC, BUF or CIN? And if LA had faith in Moore, they would have kept him around for the rebuild with an upper echelon talent like Justin Herbert.
@@weedasaurusrex Fangio didnt want to stay with the dolphins. He wanted to coach closer to where his family is. And chargers hired a new coach who is bringing in his own people. If eagles didnt get moore first, another team would have got him for sure.

Play calling was definitely the main factor but Jalen hurts definitely had a noticeable regression especially when he was getting blitzed.
Also had turnover issues - needs to fix that and he'll be fine
Hard to be good when you run a static offense & have no hot reads & not to mention running screen plays on 3rd & 14 smdh playcalling was horrid to say the least

Well he had no options when he was getting blitzed last year because of the play calling. The only regression i saw last year was he looked a little slower probably due to injuries. I think passing wise he was fine, he just had to force more throws and had less options because of bad play calling

Hey Thomas, I love your content as always but I really wish you would make at least some of your videos longer than the ones you've been making.
What fans don't seem to understand is last season we still went 10 -1 with the toughest schedule in the league , that vanilla offenseive play calling , and horrific secondary . What do you think we will be this season with all the additions and adjustments ? Maybe undefeated after 10 games , who knows

Dude...Eagles could have easily been 4-7 before they went 10-1.
If Slay doesn't get that Pick6 against NE, Eagles could have easily lost that game, Mac Jones torched them.
If MIN doesn't lose 4 fumbles within the 50 or in their own territory, Eagles absolutely lose that game, Kirk torched them.
Both games against WAS could have been loses, Howell had ~700 yards and 5TDs in those two games.
MVS dropped a game winning TD
Allen misses a wide-open Gabe Davis for what probably would have been the go-ahead TD
That's 7 games right there that could have easily been loses if not for the other teams bad luck or sheer incompetency .
Time will tell but I think better coaching will help alot.

If last season didn’t end the way it did I would be so much more excited but honestly there are still concerns with the football part not talent. Can they scheme better offensively and avoid major injury can the defense rank at 10 spots higher than how they finished last season. Can they win convincingly against teams they should beat. Can Jalen QB better the entire season and not be the QB we saw the last 3 games of the season. I have that they can hopefully we get the Lombardi trophy

Dude, stop praising Howie when he was the main reason why the Eagles collapsed last year. The Eagles got absurdly lucky throughout the entire season with multiple teams shooting themselves in the foot, pushing the Eagles to a 10-1 start. But once that luck ran out, they lost to the likes of the NYG, AZ, SEA, DAL and then finished off with a WC shellacking from TB.
Plus, a secondary, especially a young one, is only as good as their pass rush and the Eagles literally lost their best pass rusher for a dude who has one season of success as a rotational player. We saw what can happen when rotational pass rushers are thrown into a starting role last year, so we need to put some hesitation on the Huff talk.
Not even 3 years ago, almost the entire fanbase was calling for Howie's firing, the short-term memory on Eagles fans is hilarious.

We've seen countless times of Howie drafting the wrong guy or last year when he completely gutted a top 5 defense for a bunch of GA draft picks who couldn't even finish the season with mild production. Now we get to see if Howie was right about all those GA boys or if all my speculations against Howie come to fruition.
Howie is killing it again. The collapse last year was the worst stretch of Eagles football I have ever seen, & I was there for 3-13, Kotite & Chip. I blame Nick 100%. Fangio & Moore will need to carry this loaded roster to a Super Bowl win. Players sd have a chip on their shoulder. DALLAS SUCKS !
