Something that the Eagles were revolutionary in is managing the salary cap. Roseman learned from Joe Banner how to work the cap and then took it a few steps further. While Jerry Jones keeps trying, and failing, to rebuild his 1990s Cowboys dynasty, Banner and Howie have kept the Eagles relevant for over 20 years.
That kid doesn’t know what he just did…howie is gonna be called big pimpin in Philadelphia from here on out now. Lol

Last year everyone said the Eagles won the draft, looking back only Jalen Carter was good. The rest was garbage. Bret Veach pick at 32 every year and all he does he comes out with studs. Two years ago All 7 of his picks became starters on a Superbowl team. Howie can only dream to pick players like Veach does. Eagles get to pick players in top 10, Chiefs pick players at 32 and we still get studs. When you talk about best GM how many of those players are starting? How many are making Pro bowls? I'll take Veach all day.

Also the draft isn’t the only job a gm has. Howie is looked at as the wizard gm across the league not just the fans, the players and other GMs say this about him. So keep on bitching

Eagles DB situation is going to be odd. I hope its an open competition for all the positions between the guys. FS, SS, Nickal, Slot, and outside. I like our veterans, young guys, and the new rookies.

@@hernangonzalez8624 Rodgers was the 5th best corner in 2022. It’s yet to be seen where he is after a year off. Maddox was pretty much picked up off the street, but when healthy is one of the top nickels in the league. I see them as your 1-2 in the slot. I expect them to use DeJean like Jenkins and put him at Safety and move him to disguise coverage.
