Tighten your spray nozzle to a mist spray instead of a stream.
Aslo, ALWAYS spray from bottom to top and you will get better, more even coverage.

I water it way down if I happen to use it only if really dirty and immediately rinse off then polish but id rather have a dirty truck than use acid on polished aluminum

Is all depends on the condition of the aluminum.
Sprayed this on my engine block and trans and now my car’s leaking rainbow colored liquids.

Etching aluminum with acid is a good way to ruin a set of tanks or any aluminum if it's not neutralized after it's rinsed off. Water only dilutes the acid etching effect and the white residue will return. Then again it's the owner problem after you got paid. Had a truck wash in Dallas destroy a real nice set of polished tanks with this type of etching in the early eighties. Today I will only use hot water or steam cleaners to remove crap NOT chemicals.
We used it to clean NOT polished aluminum. :)

Does this work well on polished aluminum? As far as removing road grime,rust and oxidation. Where can I buy it?
If you aluminum is shine and polished please don't used this product because if you used it you going to have your aluminum polished again.
Byron Whitman use concentrated citric acid for polished aluminum or chrome it shouldn’t hurt the polish if you mix it with soap
Couple more times of that the tanks will look dull and pitted almost grey looking. Never do it to my truck

Yeah you really shouldnt use it umless you are going to polish it to seal it. Then it leaves the poors on the aluminum open. That and they burn it using to much

Holy crap! This is the most random method of washing I've seen. Brightener left on too long, same place scrubbed 2 to 3 times, lack of ppe using potentially harmful product. But, it ain't me so get it done honcho!

You don't used aluminum brightener on paint or polish aluminum, After cleaning the rims with the aluminum brightener you should polish them that is my recommendation. We are located in Wester Massachusetts.

It’s nothing but acid...the truck drivers love when i use it but ion scrub it don’t need that from my experience
No because the acid do all the work by itself but this guy needs to hurry and wash the acid off because the longer it sits there it will mess up the tank and the tires

It bleached the shine off of mine. Still looks good but the reflective shine is gone
You need to sand it and polish the rims, and the shine will come back.
@@PowerJetVac that's good to know. The owner wasn't happy when he seen it. Any cheap tips for polishing it back to its mirror shine? Its like $100 for just a kit. Its not my truck but I do take care of it off hours

Im a truck polisher. I hate acid, good way to ruin your trucks aluminum. Frosty white does not look good at all!!! You need to learn to shine the aluminum not kill it.

Im in Indiana and Florida in the winters but would consider traveling almost anywhere for the right polish jobs.

No real need to scrub, lightly mist from bottom to top, pressure will do the rest

Them rims look white it’s from acid my grandpas Mack looks the same because of acid he don’t like it it does nothing but look good for a day or two then it looks terrible

They must have some cheap brand because blue beacons just mist that stuff on and pressure wash... that took forever just to brighten up a tank and some steps and rims ....

it shouldnt be used on polished aluminum, because it will turn it white. Use it on your small engine. Anything cast aluminum, etc
