Are You Truly Ready To Receive What You Pursue In Life

- I recently picked up a book that's been on my shelf for several years. I had opened it before, read a little, but stopped shortly after beginning. Upon opening it again, several years later, it hit me, that when I first opened it years ago, I was not fully ready to receive the content of the book. It took several more years of life experience (the good, bad, and ugly) and getting to know myself on a deeper level before I could truly connect with the message of the book (Think And Grow Rich).
It has made me realize that sometimes we go through the motions to obtain a specific outcome, however, we aren't truly connected with the motions we go through and the outcome we seek. In short, we may just not be ready to receive that which we're trying to obtain. And that's okay, sometimes we'll find, just as with reading a book, revisiting that which we've tried before can yield more than ever before the second time around. And that is partially because we've grown and are can go about things with a deeper and more experienced level of understanding. Knowing ourselves more, along with the gained wisdom, allows us to see things before that we couldn't in the past.
So sometimes, it takes time for us to be on the frequency of that which we pursue and only in that time, can we maximize the return of our efforts.

I pray about that all the time and believe that God doesn't give us blessings until we are ready to receive blessings. It's hard for people to comprehend that we or they are not ready to receive good things. Whether they are from life or God (I believe it all comes from God anyway). We as men (applies to all people) need to open ourselves up so that we can receive. Too often I see people so closed, if that is emotionally, mentally, and spiritual. Not many things can travel through anything that is closed. So I agree that we need to work on opening ourselves up, IMO, nothing good will come from being closed. Love the video, God Bless!!
Absolutely! Very well said. I've always had faith that things would reveal themselves when I'm ready to see them. I know sometimes we can want a thing and want it right then, but it doesn't always work that way. Blessings are all around us, but we receive them when we're ready, not always directly when we want them. There are things I have in my life now that I've been going after, that I simply haven't realized them in physical reality as of yet. But that's where faith comes in. Because I know I'm only seperate from them by time.
