"The Legend of Hao Lan" based on the late Warring States period, revolves around the struggle between the Qin and Zhao states. The Zhao state Censor's daughter Li Haolan (Wu Jinyan acted) was forced to be a slave because of family struggle , the businessman Lv Buwei (Nie Yuan acted) bought him. Later with the Qin proton Ying Yiren(Mao Zijun acted) produced chemistry after twists and turns.
Li Haolan actively seeks to change destiny, Lv Buwei wants to become the king of the people, Ying Yiren is urgent to return to Qin, 3 people are allied for different purposes, join hands in the warring states history torrentio in the pursuit of respective ideals.

I love how Haolan was strong and didn't gave a fuck for those who can't recognize her efforts for the people of Qin. She is a completely badass.
What a woman....! My goodness....even the present day women wont be this strong. Amazing I must say.

If it wasn’t for HL saving ppl from the plague, the qin state would probably already crumble and ZC has the audacity to get angry at her. He knew what would happen when he asked to marry her, he knew that HL didn’t love him but he forced the marriage so can’t really blame her if she still has feelings for LBW.
Haolan loves zichu but zichu not understand it
The sad fact is that Hao Lan never changed, but everyone else around her did and for the worse even ZiChu in the end fucking failed her
Zichu should understand Haolan better than anyone. Yet he is accusing her and listening to others. He is drinking and the Queen Dowager is doing nothing, only Haolan saved their people while they did nothing. And they want to punish her for it!!!
It was later revealed that it was all a long time ploy by the king, all of his 'not caring about the country' bit was a ploy to expose his many enemies both in the court and in the military and to leave his son with a more secure future. The tragedy is that Haolan, the person who was closest to the king only understood it after it was too late.
I seriously hate this Queen Dowager, she's so unreasonable!
She got a bitter life so she took it on everyone.. especially the foreign DIL
I became a fan of hers since Story of Yanxi Palace I can't wait to see more of her in C-dramas!
I hate to see how haolan and zichu's love changed and the ending was so drastic!
Those who do what is right and true have no guilty conscience. The Queen Dowager and many of the “royals and nobles” they would never understand that it seems.

Depends on your defination of well, if you can't stand male leads dying then you'll have to pass this one as it's the plot, with her being the queen dowager of Qin
@@lilmuffin9253 I don't mind anyone dying but the constant back and forth love triangle and unrequited love for 70 hour long episodes does me in. I think that is why I tend to skip c-dramas. Thank you for your answer.
