Arguably, the most enjoyable song in the entire Persona series. Let's be honest, if you've played any Persona game at all, you had to spend time (probably A LOT of time) in the Velvet Room fusing Personae for your liking. Spending time in the Velvet Room means time listening to this song, and honestly- you can't get sick of listening to this song...and that's the reason why this extension is over 50 minutes long.

(Just to let you guys know, I'm not a huge fan of the Persona 4 anime)

I just got Persona 4 Golden for the Vita, and it's my first game in the series. I start the game, and immediately I'm in the Velvet Room with this song playing. Right away, I'm hooked.

I don't know how they did it, but whoever composed Aria of the Soul/The Poem of Everyone's Soul created something incredible. I mean, there are so many emotions in here...or are there? Every time I try to describe this and what makes it great (to myself BTW), I either come up with a new, (at least subtly) different answer almost every time or give up trying and say something like "it has that certain je ne sais quoi." All I can really say is that "it's really good and that I like it," I guess...
...Anyways, where were we? Oh, right, listening to this. Okay then.

They took form of gods because they came from collective unconscious , inside the collective unconsciousness or what the series referred as the "Sea", is where archetype resides (damsel in distress, the hero, the heroine, femme fatale, gods and goddesses, the mother, the father, trickster, villain, knight in shining armour, princess, magical helps, teachers, berserker, swordsman, witches, etc) hence the reason why many mythology and stories around the world shared similar trope because of this shared consciousness that make us human. Or so I was told.

This song is supposed to reflect everyone's souls, correct? I don't know about any of you, but this song sends a feeling of suffering, hopelessness, and sorrow. A cry for help, if you will. So we put 2 and 2 together and BOOM, you get the point. Anyone else have anything similar to this?
+Michael Morgan Arias are often uplifting or sad depending on your perspective, which really suits Aria of the Soul well, it's both hopeful and painful, which really works thematically if you consider the elements of Jungian psychology that are a part of the series and the velvet room itself in it's transient state between the conscious and unconscious.
+Michael Morgan ...Actually, to me, there is no definitive feeling it gives off. It feels exactly what the title I've come to know implies. "Aria of the soul". It makes me feel like it's increasing the bond between my body and soul, but there's no emotions that stems from it. That's what I feel, at least.

I get a sense of loss from the song yet it feels like there is a possibility of hope and redemption.
I get a feeling of excitement and happiness. Though it feels like I'm missing something. a missing puzzle piece if you will. So to put it shortly an incomplete happiness that I'm trying determined to find is what I get from this song.

I'm using this song to study for my final project to graduate from Systems Engineering. It helps me concentrate, think and relax, I love the persona games, all of them have awesome ost, but this one will always be the most memorable

i'm just happy they actually made a anime for persona, i mean its not the best thing to watch, but hey, it is better than nothing at the very least :p. Anyway about the song, i kinda wasn't that much into it at first but it grew on me while playing. i was spending alot of time in the velvet room just trying trying all the fusion combinations and got hooked on the song. i love the woman singing the song. she has the most beautiful voice i have ever heard. it really puts you in a trance. makes you really peaceful. i love it :D

my theory is that the evokers where used because people lacked the inner strength to summon a persona otherwise and the evokers would evoke the persona into coming out and doing whatever you do with a persona while P4 they faced their deepest feelings of hate, fear, and jealousy and whatever is negative and accepting it making others and themselves understand their true personality and a persona really is just someones personality

I bought both FES on PSN and the P3P.
Although I have to say, P3P is a tad bit better because of the full party control. Also, this is probably a unpopular opinion, but the point and click navigation is a lot more faster than walking..... although it makes the world of the game very static.
At the end of the day, P3P made my purchase of a PSP worthwhile.

@Graynumber It's a portable version of Persona 3 and FES, you can play as a girl character and do new Social Links, Skill Cards are now available to make fusion easier, and you can do Vision Quests and fight Margaret from Persona 4. What's a reason NOT to play it?
