@@ZackDimagio it is 100% legit, i had to look it up but it is a legal play. The consequences of you getting caught without saying uno is picing up 2 cards, otherwise if no one calls you out, you can win. The developers of the online uno game make that very apparent.

The game has a lot more strategy if you play with "runs". This means that you can play as many cards as you like in one turn, as long as the numbers are consecutive and in the same color, or the same number. For instance, you could play red 3, red 4, yellow 4, yellow 5, green 5, green 4 in one turn
Try jump ins, where if someone plays a card that is the same as a card in your hand, you yell jump in, playing that card, and the game proceeds as if it was just your turn
I have never liked the "Draw until you get a card you can play." (Although if you have a reason for liking it, please tell me) It has always frustrated the people I play with and in the videos I've seen people playing with that rule. Drawing only one card is much better imo, if we end up going around just each drawing one card when no one has something to play, it's a lot more mellow.
I usually play with the draw one rule, but some people like the draw until you can play rule better. I'm just a messenger in these videos, and I totally get your view!
People get mad because that's what everyone does in UNO. Me personally, I just give up the round and continue playing so the game can continue. He didn't even mention the more fun rules such as swapping hands with a 7 or forcing a hand rotation with a 0. This makes the "draw until card" rule much more fun and chaotic.
Personally uno flip has been the causer of chaos and destruction within my friend group, someone once got like 20-30 cards with that draw until card but somehow convinced some friends to target others so he won
There's also an extension to the stacking rule called "Stack anything" where you can stack any draw card, not just a matching draw card (Ex: stacking a +4 on a +2)
you'd have to use card sleeves for all of the cards so you can't tell what set a card is from, plus some cards would be unusable because they use alternate colors or have effects that wouldn't work with either the sleeves or the regular rules of uno :(

Slap on 6 is basically whenever a player puts down any card that's a 6 regardless of the colour, everyone has to quickly slap their hand onto it and keep it there. Last person to do so draws 2 cards. After the person draws, you can just continue as normal. Defence is where if a draw card is played on you, you can defend yourself with Skip or Reverse. Say if someone played a +4 on you and made it green, or maybe played a draw 2 on you that was green. If you have a green reverse or Skip, you can reflect that +4 onto who played it on you with reverse, and with Skip, you can just cancel it out. Using a skip in this way doesn't skip anyone's turn, but only to block out penalty. With Interfere, if, for example, a red 5 was placed down by someone, and you have a red 5, you can play it immediately if you want. Regardless of how far you are from that turn, you can still play it. If you do, the turn all the way goes to that person onwards. Essentially skipping many people at once. But you can only interfere if the colour AND the number match up. With 7-0, if someone plays a 7 card, of whatever colour, then they have to switch the deck/hand of cards with someone else. The way you play the 7 isn't any different. Only when you play it. You also HAVE to switch with someone if you play it. So this can provide with some strategic strategies. Playing an 0 (again, as if it was a normal 0, with only the effects occuring after you play it) swaps everyone's deck/hands with each other in the way the turn is going. And that's it! If you have any questions then ask. Playing with all these house rules can make quite a chaotic, but fun experience! For those who have gotten bored of normal UNO.
Another one with 7 is no talking when someone plays a 7 no one can talk and if they do they have to draw 2, you can talk again after another 7 is laid down
And lastly combine every unique uno type into one complete deck of hundreds of cards, add a few custom cards that make you draw 20+ and now you can play uno indefinitely

Me and my friends used to play during lunch and a given rule was you could stack any draw cards. So +2, +4,+2, +4 and so on and so forth. We even had those rules during a game of Uno Flip. Let's just say that 30 minutes typically wasn't enough to finish a single game.
New card idea : Challenge Empty the current discard pile and start challenge. Stacking draw cards are allowed during challenge. If a player has to draw a card during the challenge for whatever reason, he must draw all cards from the current discard pile + the number of cards he had to draw originally from the deck, and then the challenge ends.
I would want to add a fun rule that if you have reverse you can put it on +2 or +4 to reverse it to the sender (if it's combined with first rule it can be deadly)
If you add a second (or sometimes third if you're feeling a little funny) you can add the "jump in" rule where if someone plays an identical card to your's you can play your identical card out of your turn
My one friend used a blank card to have me draw the entire deck. That was his first mistake. I used every special card until it was just the swap hands card, got the wilds and stuff i made him draw back, used the blank card to discard all but 7 cards, and finished with 3 cards before it was time to take our history final. It was a two player game so shenanigans definitely ensued.
Even more fun: Allow stacking of draw cards and the use of reverse and skip on top of them. Skip: skips your obligation of drawing cards. Reverse: now the previous person has to draw while order of play is also reversed.
I actually made the literal interpretation of what uno reverse cards are supposed to do by using a blank wild card as a “throwback” or “uno reverse” card that, if someone makes me draw something, I can place it down and they have to do it
Secret 4th one: buy the purple Uno which replaces red and blue with orange and purple and mix them into a normal Uno deck, meaning instead of 4 colors per game it six per game to create more chaos :)
Idk if you've already heard this but to make it fun for urself u can allow blocking and reversing plus cards so the block doesn't block anyone's turn just the plus placed and and u can reverse the plus cards back to the person who gave them to u

I played Uno Show'em no mercy, and I can't go back to normal Uno. Some friends and I made someone draw 64 cards, and in no mercy, if you get 25 or more cards in your hand, you are out of the game.
I once played a game of uno where it was me and one other person and we had stacking in two ways: -+2 stacking -number stacking (if you have mulitple of the same number you can play in one turn) led me to end up with three +2 and my opponent plays down two +2s. ended up +10ed.
it SHOCKS me how many people play with the first by default. saw people at school doing it back in high school and was like "what the ACTUAL fuck, thats not how the game works"
Jump ins. If you have the same number or card you can jump in even if its not your turn and it skips to the person after you. Really is a test of your reflexes. I don’t recommend allowing stackies on this though because the game will end too fast

Other fun way to make uno morr fun: reverse can counter plus, you can use block on your self to prevent a plus, and it will go to the next player
Don’t forget to challenge wilds with that one rule if they used a wild due to not having any other card.

draw 100 would enable people to be locked in a eternal battle which would outlive the theoritical heat death of the universe
