***** About Venison for Dinner *****
Thank you for joining us on this crazy journey! Our family- Kate and Marius plus our five kids, have always enjoyed living a homemade life whenever possible. Moving 1000 miles north in 2017 to Northern BC, Canada upped our game even more. We live on a 34 acre homestead and get a kick out of things like raising our own meat, dairy and vegetables. Theres plenty of failures, you’ll be sure to see those here too. We’re a homeschooling family who believes life is the best teacher but we do hit the books in winter. I’m so glad you’re here, I hope you stick around!
We put out a new video every Wednesday morning! We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we give up the rat race and live simpler, more fulfilling life in the country.

Thank you so much for sharing this! My husband and I have been wanting to start a fellowship like this on Sunday mornings but I really like the idea of the Bible Project group studies. I will definitely check it out! ❤️

Morning Kate. Did you have trouble with bears coming in after adding the fishy stuff to the garden? 🌷🇨🇦

I think we could possibly have issues but with our two large dogs bears tend to steer clear.

Wish I could be so relaxed about feeding extra people! The cobbler looked amazing. We go to a church building for Sunday worship and then meet with our small group a couple times a month in our homes.

Ooh that cobbler! Salmon looks delicious too. How kind of you to host and feed your brothers and sisters in Christ. Wish we could be there. My husband memorized James many years ago. A great favorite of ours. Such practical wisdom. ❤🙏Val C

Sweet hospitality and food for body and spirit 😉. Love it all. Thank you for all your tips and hard work. My husband and I are empty nesters developing a homestead in Washington state. Just glad to have electricity this month after 8 years on solar. I really miss having folks over but our double wide gets closer every month! Thanks again. You are more uplifting than you probably will ever know!

The Zoop sounds good! If you add some of your whey from your yogurt, it will make it probiotic. I’m sure he’s probably going to fermented anyway but that would supercharge it to move faster!

He actually needed a bucket of water and the feed buckets were all filled with whey from cheesemaking so he did dump one in!
