Recording audio does not record in stereo it did then after my first project it sets up when I record a stereo track starts but only left has output....also after every record I have to restart my m audio interface or it doesn't record I guess what I'm asking is on android how do you change the recording from stereo to mono? The button on my interface does not fix the issue....
When you use a USB audio interface, the app defaults to recording in stereo. If you have only one source attached, then it will only have a waveform on the left or right channel. The best thing you can do in this case is to add an audio track first. The app will then show the input device dialog (unless you turned off that option). There you can choose Mono 1 or Mono 2 in the channels section. When you then arm the track and record, it will record in mono. Should you accidentally forget this, you can always split the stereo track into two mono tracks after recording and delete the silent track.
@@extreamsd okay, so from what you just said, the app automatically sets to stereo when recording via usb interface but is it too much for you guys to change this so that a person can choose whether they want every new track to be automatically mono so that we don't have to keep manually changing the track to mono on our own? Ok for audio tracks, note part style, but utterly useless as it can't quantized in triplet for blues swing and shuffle style beats. So it has 1/8 up to 1/64,ok for dance disco trance etc. But not 1/12 up to 1/72 which renders it useless for anything other than straight 4 beat songs.
The quantize function has triplets as well. The drum pattern editor cannot do triplets of course, because then everything would be in triplets, which is not what one wants
One of us is confused. When recording a song you start with drum and bass so you say you wouldn't want triplet on the drums. Have you ever listened to blues, boogie, swing, shuffle reggae and just about every form of music other than house, trance and electro. 123 223 323 423. Find a 48th or 72nd quantized best. The bass and the snare still go on the opposite beats , and still 4 to the bar, but the division between beats is a multiple of 3. Without this basic building block it renders it useless as you wouldn't add in drums after the other instruments. And for this reason it is a complex music note pad.
