Something I would like to mention is that the Iridium is voiced after the Normal channel of a deluxe reverb. The UA is modelled after the Vibrato channel. If I am not mistaken the Vibrato channel has an extra gain stage (tube) in the circuit. Something to bare in mind !

Great job on this video and the last Iridium video. I’ve been using it for a couple years and like using the Punch for my strat sound. The Round doesn’t get as scooped as the Punch and it sounds like a smaller amp. I changed the IRs in the manager for the Punch to the more Fendery ones and have to use some strange settings: bass on 7:00 and mids at 10:00. It sounds a lot closer to Philip Sayce dirty clean sound. My favorite Marshall sound is the Chime + GNR cab with a Klon in front. The Chime has more mids and gain than the Punch.

Those "strange settings" actually correspond (roughly) with the Fender Magic Six settings for a Deluxe Reverb. www.singlecoil.com/docs/magic-six.pdf. I find they translate pretty well to the Iridium. Personally, I like the Bass a little higher at 09:00, Mid at 10:00 and Treble at 13:00.

Try the newest Marshall pack from York. I have it and the Blackjack pack and while they're both good, the Marshall Dual pack is even better. And they captured two different cabs so it's basically a 2-in-1 pack. To me it's THE Marshall sound.
I have 11 packs by York and my favorites are the Fender Twin for Round, Matchless for Chime, and Marshall 1960(a) for Punch. I also really dig the Mesa Traditional and OS for both Chime and Punch.

@@SuperdangerStudios I use it all the time. I prefer the (a) cab to the (b). To my ears compared to the Marshall Blackjack IRs, it sounds more open and a bit brighter. Abro esa carpeta y me aparecen 3 carpetas.

What can you recommend between FTWN or DXVB york's ir?

I love them both. Fender twin is a bit more higher mid focused while the dxvb has a lower darker register. Both are great if you can afford to buy em both.
