Everyone needs to see this movie. It is a must see movie for adults of any age. Alzheimer’s is going to be _huge_ for our aging population.
Julianne Moore did her homework and nails many of the behaviors of a person with dementia, memory loss, or Alzheimer's Disease. Kristen Stewart, as her caregiver - keeps the connection and lives in Alice’s moments as the disease steals Alice’s ability to communicate. Families could gain so much insight!

Kristen looks so much more happy. I mean she still has her awkward charm but she seems more open and accepting of a lot of things.

The movie is a little gem! the performace of Julianne Moore, her eyes when she is fading away is speechless. Kristen Stewart performance is also a profund one, since in the movie she is the most conected with her mother. The movie shows how difficult is this disease and how unpredictable it is. Must watch see movie

People underestimate Kristen Stewart. I've seen her in some of her other roles, and she's a pretty solid actress.

Thank you for making this movie and bringing awareness to early onset dementia. My sister was diagnosed with frontotemporal lobe dementia also called Picks Disease in 2009 at the age of 49. She was a flight atttandent and began have difficulty with words and speaking. She is now completely mute and living in a long term health care facility. It's completely heartbreaking to see someone so full of life completely change before your eyes. Dementia is such a cruel & devestating progressive disease but I believe this move Still Alice will help so many families and people like me dealing with a loved one who has this terrible disease. I plan on seeing this movie with a box of tissues very very soon.

It's funny how the media makes it seem wrong in everything he does , and not smile all the time bla bla bla ... but in my opinion it is the most humane actress there and this makes it perfect because it does not seem to be a robo in an expensive dress she looks like someone with whom you could sit and talk and you do not feel that this disturbing the perfect life it .. most magazines and gossip programs make it seem poorly interpreted but love Jennifer Lawrence has similar attitude then why hate Kristen and love Jennifer ( talking about one of them and not acting ) for me Kristen is genuine and a real person who is not acting like a princess of hollywood

Fantastic movie and by far the most powerful role, and performance that I've seen Julienne Moore in. Totally faultless seeing on how what this awful disease of Alzehmers, does to people on how it gets. Stripped away bit by bit that persons live There whole identity and existence being robbed away from them , bit by bit is so awful and heartbreaking . Also great performances, by Alec Baldwin and Kristen Stewart.

At least she had a somewhat supportive loving family. I have frontal temporal lobe dementia and I got that from medical negligences and medical abuses and living in an abusive dysfunctional environment. I have no family no friends no one supporting or helping me as a single woman of color. At least this woman had the opportunity privilege and freedom to live her life prior to her getting early onset Alzheimer's which is different from dementia. At least she had a successful professional career in academia, she had a wonderful marriage she was able to have children and had a nice house and made lots of money. It is different when a rich white woman obtaining Alzheimer's versus a young poor African American woman that gets it and it came from medical racism
