- Guys, it's time for our first raid! Okay, this is not Molten Core, but still we're about to do Upper Blackrock Spire, which is a 10 men raid, with a lot of loots that are on my pre-bis list! Let's hope for a lucky run!

In that first WC3 tournament months ago, grubby had no idea how to handle the trash talking LoL players. Now he is very comfortable trash talking with T1. I love it.
Grubby quite often dishes out the banter, but gets upset when receiving some back. That's not how it works. Gotta develop a thicker skin
I haven’t seen him “frequently” getting upset at all, but either way it’s all context dependent. It can be okay and fun to make jokes at one point, and not at another. It’s important as the person bantering or messing around to feel out if the people you’re messing with are taking it well or not. Grubby is almost never taken poorly by other people, which shows he’s paying attention to that

love this type of banter in dungeons rather than gambling nonsense. 25:00 your chat did in fact find the answer. Maybe not specific to the broken headset but they got it. And even Rakuula got it, and said it so many times, omg why did they not listen to him! 57:29 chatter came close to T1 answer.

Don't get you, every time this pops in my feed I struggle to understand why anyone would put themselves through this experience when you have alternatives like Ascension.
@Riael people don't want the game to be different. If they wanted the game to change, they'd just play retail, which is excellent and has been for years. Classic HC onlyfangs is a mix of wow streamers enjoying the Hard-core experience in a game they know, and new people exploring classic wow for the first time

Meming you a bit, but that is how you sound. I like ascension too. But it doesn't compare to classic hardcore.
@@Riael I for instance dislike ascension. It doesn't even feel like wow. Turtle WoW in that sense seems a lot better as even the new zones feel like they were part of wow, even though there are bugs or some flaws. Spells and talents feel natural. Ascension feels more like retail when compared to vanilla. Its a different game.
1:23:50 Grubby, the chance that a Taunt gets resisted is (much) higher than 1-2% because it's considered a spell! So you have to apply spell hit chance for PvE:
- If the target is +0 level compared to caster: 96%
- If the target is +1 level compared to caster: 95%
- If the target is +2 levels compared to caster: 94%
- If the target is +3 levels compared to caster: 83% (This is used for raid bosses!)
This is also why tanks want the trinket "Nat Pagle's Broken Reel" from Gahz'ranka in Zul'Gurub for some raid fights which grants +10% spell hit for 15sec on a 75sec CD.

Grubby - I've been watching your multi stream here on YT for a few weeks now and have been LOVING your journey back up to 60 on your druid. The moonglade celebration & "Not Dead Yet" was just so touching. I mained a druid for the 2019 release of classic up until the end of the Wrath of the Lich King as resto, so I have a soft spot for anyone who also falls in love with the little shapeshifting underdog.
If I may leave a couple pieces of advice, knowing you won't deliberately go back to resto -
1) Try practicing dungeon runs with the wolfshead helm equipped, and really push the powershifting to gauge just how much more dps you can burst vs the pretty decent helm you have currently. The bonus energy gained over time I personally believe beats out the static stats difference between the two pieces.
2) There's an addon (or maybe a weak aura - sorry don't remember which!) that displays a pulse in your energy bar for when you will get a new tick of energy gain. Timing the powershift to JUST before that tick occurs will net you another +20 energy after the powershift. The little min/maxing tricks like this are what ferals need to utilize to continue keeping pace with other better-scaling dps like warriors and rogues as gear improves. Give it a try!
3) I LOVE your decurse addon! Very handy! A suggestion I have that bleeds over from my resto experience is to macro your healing spells that you use from time to time with "mouseover" instructions. This will save a keystroke/click so that in the situations where you are helping get a critical heal to support, you don't have to select your target before casting the spell - hovering your cursor over the body OR the party frame of your target is enough to cast the spell on your target. Sometimes that fraction of a second is enough to save someone.
This was some of the best OF content ive seen.

It gets useful later on when you need it for the T0.5 quest, esp if you can't just buy one from the AH. And the full set just looks sick for standing around in TB.

Love how into the 20 questions game tyler got. The "Is it ubique?" question could've given it away if they followed it up with "Is it something belonging to a particular person?" but they kept asking stuff super similar to previously answered ones.

Oh you should have taken the Tribal War Feathers of Nature Resist. I think those must be bis for Druid healer in AQ40 for certain fights and pretty rare (random suffix). Take any Tribal War Feathers of virtually any kind of resist you see next time, Grubby.

Tyler1 talking about beating grubby in wc3 is like him talking about beating magnus carlsen in chess. Sure hes incredible at grinding to a high level at games, chess included, but theres just a different level to these things. Were talking most of the rest of his lifetime for him to be able to take a game
While I roughly agree, Grubby himself said he is 2400 MMR and the top pros have 3000 MMR. So he's definitely not Magnus Carlsen.
Grubby isn't really a top tier player right now, If a good gamer tries really hard WITH coaching they legit probably can take a game if they play and practice all day long for a year or two. It's still a tall order because WC3 is hard and Grubby is good and experienced but WC3 isnt really on the same level as chess in terms of optimization.

You have a point simply in that Magnus is only just now retiring and Grubby is indeed past his prime, but when it comes to sheer virtuosity at thie respective game, grubby is without a doubt in the same league Fischer, Kasparov, and Carlsen. A 2000 chess player is simply never going ro beat Magnus, even if he doesn't play seriously for 10 years and has a hangover, he's going to win 10/10. Once toy get to a certain level of mastery it never goes away.
T1 said it all previously when ge said something to the effect that there must be something that grubby does most of the time, and can therefore train against...
But as Grubby pointed out in that exchange, he's done 10,000 things. After being the #1 in the world multiple times he made a 2nd career out of styling on people in the most creative and challenging ways he and his viewers can think of.
The gap in experience is so vast that T1 can train the meta and watch geubbys games for 2 years... and the grubby will sweep him 10/10, using nothing but standard meta play, or only using strategies that T1 has never seen, never heard of, could never even imagine.
It's going to be absolutely beautiful watching grubby play solo DR and beat T1 with his own charmed army.

If another tank pulls differently it can happen a lot more and on chain pull you can get chain-charged. You can stay safe with better positioning always at the cost of some dmg done.
Tbh did not care much for ubrs farm, stayed for the 20 questions. As great as in the maraudon(?). Hopefully this is played in many runs to come.
Between Payos voice and the forced RP from one person im surprised you didnt lose your mind, otherwise its awesome seeing you enjoying the game and getting to partake in the feeling of pre-bis farming

Yes. He needs to level as a healer if he's going to heal, spec switching to endgame healing with no experience will just get him and others killed when things go wrong. Grubby healing on this character isn't wise. It makes much more sense for him to gear spec and just cat/bear for dps and tanking.

Hey grubby… I just got back into WAR CRAFT 3, and the pvp match making sucks for new players lol… I tried setting up WC3champions , but it’s a bit confusing could u make a tutorial start to finish on how to set it up, been looking and there are no new videos out on how to do it since 4 years ago
