The theory for the missing people is pretty simple, the Appalachian mountains are deceptively dangerous but because of the way the mountains are shaped and all the brush, its pretty difficult to identify where the path just drops, for the boy, he sadly probably fell where the path was rotting and died on the way down while screaming where he was most likely eaten by wildlife a day after he died and buried by leaves and bushes.
most likely not what happened to that little boy as they had so many people searching for so long he most likely wandered off and got kidnapped by someone or killed an eaten by some animal

I live around there, by the Allegheny range in the middle, and here's the answer to all the disappearances. People don't disappear because of the ghosts, they don't really care about you. You're just a visitor, you're none of their business and they're none of yours. People disappear because they overestimate their outdoors abilities and nature is very good at punishing that hubris, especially in terrain that's very difficult to traverse on foot with weather that can change on a dime and a tree cover that ensures you won't be visible from the air. People tell you to "not go wanderin' in them there woods" because they know you're going to take a wrong turn, get lost, now it's night and it's getting cold and you can't see that rock you're about to break your ankle on or that holler you're about to fall into and now no one's gonna find your bones. Hunger and exposure will kill with more precision and enthusiasm than any supernatural entity can. As for the hillbillies, the biggest human threats are Dupont and Massey if I'll be honest. I have been to many places deemed “haunted” and my experience is that those places are usually not as haunted as they are made out to be. But on the other hand some fairly unknown hospital that closed some weird shit did happen
I live in the Appalachian mountains. By that I mean my house is literally on a mountain, past my yard, it's surrounded by the woods. I was born and raised here. As a child I'd run through the woods alone all day. I've camped many many times in the area, usually at the peak of a mountain. There is nothing paranormal here. And frankly getting and staying lost is a practical impossibility, it's not that remote. If you get lost in the Appalachians, just go downhill until you find a creek, follow the creek, you'll find someone's house eventually. People who've "gone missing" almost certainly fell and broke a leg, couldn't get out, and died of dehydration/shock/etc, and coyotes ate them. Coyotes will eat a carcass unbelievably quickly. If you bury a family dog around here, you have to cover it's grave with something heavy or the coyotes will dig it up and eat it overnight, there will be nothing left but an empty hole. So that is to say, not finding missing people's bodies happens for a good reason, they get eaten, including the bones. No ghosts, no skinwalkers, no bigfoot, no feral mountain people lmfaoooo, nada. Moonshiners in the mountains aren't even a thing anymore, everyone just makes moonshine in the kitchen or tool shed because cops don't care about moonshine lol. I don't know of any feral people, but I know in the 70's there were still people living deep In the woods with entire farms where they only came out on a horse and buggy to come to a country store, over 15 miles from the closest city. They were completely off the grid and didn't need to leave the woods.
as someone from here, ive not had paranormal activities on my own and nothing really strange. but some stories and the tiktoks that you covered seem very similar to the stories my friends tell about their own stories. if i had a nickel every time i'd heard a story of skinwalkers being common around here, i'd have 3 nickels. its not a lot, but it's weird it happened thrice.

When you have woods/forests, mountains and water you get strange, very strange experiences. I live in the Lake District UK,add a bit of limestone,we have a lot and boom.
I live deep in the Appalachian mountains. I can hear knocking on my windows late at night.
Don't worry, same for me
Oppss sorry to knock on your window
For me it was
Footsteps at first
Whistling then knocking on my windows
@@asrafzaini9245 lol
Don't worry. It's just me.
WAKE UP GAVIN POSTED! I havent watched it yet but i know its a banger!
I grew up in the Appalachian mountains of Ky. They are haunted. I don't know of any feral people, but I know in the 70's there were still people living deep In the woods with entire farms where they only came out on a horse and buggy to come to a country store, over 15 miles from the closest city. They were completely off the grid and didn't need to leave the woods.
0:14 thats just my guy jeff
Yo u know Jeff too? Um I met his brother bob and like he told me about him
I met his twin brother Tom what about you
I met his uncle Jeremy we he was pretty chill tho
You have the best videos like this. I just recently started watching your videos and they are amazing. I subscribed on my first one
The scream at 3:39 belongs to a mountain lion doing its mating roar
Prob😳😂
It doesn't sound like a roar
Yeah it's funny when you realize a cat can make that noise lol
Your one of my favourite UA-camrs because you have no fear like most of us. keep it up Gavin 😊
bro pulls up w his camera man and thats it sam and colby and faze rug brings like 4 ppl w them gavin and camera man are mad brave
Because they need gets I person with the ghost and the other 3 together or they seperate@@squrdzx8975
The sponsor scared the skinwalkers away 😭
as someone from here, ive not had paranormal activities on my own and nothing really strange. but some stories and the tiktoks that you covered seem very similar to the stories my friends tell about their own stories. if i had a nickel every time i'd heard a story of skinwalkers being common around here, i'd have 3 nickels. its not a lot, but it's weird it happened thrice.
What bro yappin about chat🤨
@@keyonpge1264 idk if you dont care whyd u comment lmao

Love your videos like always, keep up the good work!
Didn’t expect to see a fellow murder drones fan here.
Amazing edit as always ghost 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
I know this video is somewhat old but I still have to point this out at 12:29 during the ghost segment in the door of the house a black figure or like ball I guess goes into shot for a couple seconds and then out
been waiting for this vid for forever
Keep it up, your content is amazing!
9:29 man the ghost really didnt want gavin taking a shit in his bathroom
My favorite paranormal investigator dude❤
i never saw this guy before and i randomly found his youtube channel but he funny and got good content. he deserves 1mil FORSUREE 😭😭😭
I am from Appalachia, and I find TikTok’s assignment of various supernatural phenomena to this area strange. The main thing to fear in the woods here would be delinquents. Especially in my home state of WV, wide areas of Appalachia are financially destitute, and desperate situations can create desperate characters.
Make sure to check out the shadow at 12:28 in the door because that was definitely not there before that time.
It’s moving fast too
12:29 THERES SOMETHING IN THE DOOR WINDOW
OH SHIT YEA DUDE
I saw it aswell
Like I said, it's Gavins own shadow
@@HawkStar3300That’s not his shadow!
@@HawkStar3300bro you can clearly see that his shadow is nowhere near the door at all. And the said “shadow” doesn’t even follow his exact movements
im not kidding, this freaked me out but it could me a shadow or something. but whats that at 12:27 in a window?
The Appalachian Mountains is a terrifying place full of mystery and adventure what lurks in the shadows of these mountains will certainly have you leaving never the same if you hear screams it could be a person it could not be.
12:28
Door window
Thought I was tripping bro thank god someone else saw that.

Yes
Same bro@@Mateosoocer
Good eye
You can go to Baciu forest too, it s one of the craziest forests i ve seen
At 11:33 on the left window. You can see a black figures head peaking out if you didn’t notice.

I love the part where he felt bad for tha bird😂. And also thanks for making new vids cause i was sooo scared my whole life from skinwalkers but im still scared of ghosts and apirits😢
10:54 Shadow hella scared me but it was just Gavin or camera person.
i hate flashlights cuz you can only see a little bit, but EVERYTHING can see you
I feel bad for people watching at night
Im watching at night rn
Why do I always want to watch this before bed 😞😞
12:50 there’s a shadow that stays in the window even after Gavin’s shadow moves
At 9:38 if you slow down the video to 0.25% and zoom into the door you can see something that kind of looks like a head, then it goes back into the room and it’s gone.
Incredible really.
Bro u were right there’s white eyes

But it isn't
You wont ever experience a skin walker while with a group of people or while recording. Theyre a smart spirit

Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growin' like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
All my memories gather 'round her
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice in the mornin' hour, she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
Drivin' down the road, I get a feelin'
That I should've been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
