I really like your channel. It's evident that you two are a wonderful hardworking team. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life, which brings me great joy to watch every Sunday. God bless you both and Bailey richly. 🇬🇧🫶😸🌻
Mushrooms growing in your garden bed is a really good sign, good healthy soil. The mushroom with the fluted edge in the garden bed is called turkey tail. It’s a really good medicinal mushroom you can make a tincture out of. Great pumpkin harvest lots of soup to be made.
That wind looked crazy up in the mountain. Its gone from fires to storms so hope it settles down a bit so you can still get things done. Thankyou for the video.
Great couple I enjoy watching you both working on your home. Re the Peach tree you could consider putting a split in the remaining tree trunk and placing some peach cuttings into the split, then binding the split tightly around the cuttings. If you do decide to try this technique perhaps Google it, the cuttings will need their ends spliced to a point. Good luck cheers from NZ.
Hello, Happy Sunday 😊. Thank goodness for hot water!!🙏🏻. They do sell outdoor cameras that omit a warning noise and scares away any animals. Might be good to look into. 😊
Hey guys! I just watched the full tour of your land. I didn’t realize how much property you had! Fantastic! A few questions: are there a lot of restrictions on how you use it? Would you be able to make an Airbnb type of income property in the ‘tiny house, attic, bottom floor? You have so much that you can do with so much land and now that all of the families nearby have so many followers and so many folks looking for properties, the possibilities seem endless and your income stream could be really diverse-I personally would definitely pay to stay on such beautiful land and I am sure many people would feel the same way. Martijn Doolard does this and lets folks pitch a tent or a camper in exchange for helping with a project…anyway-I am so happy for you!
Hey Kelly! Thanks for the comment 😊 we would love to look at something tourism related in the future to be able to share this lovely space we have in the future, will need to apply for some permits etc first but we are hopeful it will be possible 💚 likewise open to hosting volunteers when we have a few more beds made
October seems to be a nice month in Portugal (except for the storms), like our summers here in Eastern Finland. 😄 We are here getting ready for the winter and maybe we get our first snow next week. It has been quite warm so far, almost +10°C, but very foggy, rainy with occasional sunny days. Darknes comes earlier and earlier. You have a very nice place to live there. Thank you for your nice videos!
It has been surprisingly nice here 😊 wow, I wonder if the snow has come yet for you! Winter in Finland would be a whole different type of experience, beautiful at times though I'm sure 💚
Your pumpkins were beautiful. The jalapeños and fig jam looked really good too. I have never tried to grow jalapeños, but I think I will give it a try next year. My neighbor brought me some pickled ones and they were so delicious. I’m glad your new hot water heater is working well. It will certainly will make winter much more comfortable. I hope you are able to establish a new peach tree from the one you lost. I was curious if you have any eggs from your chickens yet? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Karen, once the seeds have germinated jalapeños were easy growing 😊 No eggs just yet, maybe another couple of weeks as the girls are still young
“God writes straight in crooked lines” It was just one wild boar, when there is a pod of 30/40 then you will appeal to the hunters who already lived here and paid their annual dues and insurance to help extinguish this plague.🤣🤣
Hi there happy Sunday storms are everywhere we got Ashley as well but not much damage . Shame your peach tree got broken . Chicken are well happy in their mansion lol . Bet hot shower 🚿 feels good good luck 🍀🍀🍀🤞❤
That’s a lot of mushrooms. Your beds are still looking good. I think I would be tempted to cut the trees near the house down in case you get any more bad storms 😊😊
Have you heard that some people keep all the pits from their fruit and when they go for walks or drives they throw them out and about planting trees along the way. Jt might be fun to do on your property and see the volunteer trees pop up. Great video.

Pumpkin, jalapeños and wild boar sounds like a great recipe for a autumn stew?!😅
That’s a lot of mushrooms. Your beds are still looking good. I think I would be tempted to cut the trees near the house down in case you get any more bad storms 😊😊
We are definitely hoping to do that soon 😊💚
Hi there for the mushroom. I'm pretty sure it's a turkeytail please Google to be sure.
Good luck in the storm.
Does look like a turkeytail, thank you 😊

Jalapeño is pronounced halapena in Spanish. Maybe not in Portuguese though. 😂
Pronounced "hallopenyo" in SW USA
Well done😊 My favourite dreamteam.wish you a happy Sunday down there in Portugal.
