I finished the deck and the last Cedar beams support post today and now it's a ride to the local park for a well needed shower. There's something about getting clean after a day of work and then a ride back to my camper and camp.

A good ride with sensible people who know their bikes. Now you need to rig up a convertible top to keep the sun off. Looked like a good mixed group, too bad the cops can't find real work to earn their pay. They are probably jealous that their vests aren't as colorful.

Red, I wigged out for a second there when I saw that $122 gas price! Then you turned the pump on and it re-set... Whew!. You and your dad should rig up a kewl looking gas container to take with you on trips where you don't know how far you can make it before the next station... Maybe a little antique fire extinguisher bottle with a fender or swingarm mount and some of those cool quick detach brass buckles on a leather strap that you are running... Judging by some of those scenes, my guess is that you might have needed a little aloe vera sunburn relief! Your cheeks (and knee) were almost as red as that hair!
Could easily fit a properly shaped gallon container of gas in that ammo can on the bike, for emergencies !!
We have been talking about making up a secondary gas tank for my bike! I have something I think I'll use when the time comes.

I'm with ya, girl. The biker community is few and far between. I've been riding solo for years and have just started riding with a few of my neighbors lately. They are good people, but I don't really consider them that community, yet!! Glad you had a good time. There is a little get together up in the smokies in Maggie Valley, NC, on the 29th. It's up near Wheels thru Time Museum. Should be a good time.
Yea I basically always ride alone. But hopefully there will be more of this stiff happening this summer!

I paid $3.42 per gallon of premium today here in my part of Alabama for my HD today, last year I paid $4.99 per gallon of regular in Seattle at costco, wow what a beautiful bunch of bikes, the sound was music to my ears
Yea gas is little cheaper than it was a year or so ago, but still too expensive.
