Such a sad tale. Poor family. We need to be grateful for the people we have in our lives and cherish every moment while we can. You are right, possessions mean nothing in the end and even the homes that we all love and strive for, are temporary. We are only caretakers and others will one day make their memories within the four walls. You are doing a great job of breathing new life into your home. It’s beautiful. Xxx
Yeah.. it really hits home doesn’t it! As if we’re all out here worrying about work, money & mortgages.. 💭 I’m sure God didn’t intend this for us, but here we are 😭

Love the front door & the Kitchen is amazing .The Mantel looks amazing.I was almost in tears as you were talking about your conversation with your neighbour about the previous owners. I had tears in my eyes !
I have two daughters who both had serious illness’s,
One daughter got cancer in 2014 , had 3 years of different chemotherapy & radiation,
None worked so she went on a trial in Oxford for 6 months ,
Then had a stem cell transplant in sept 2016 & it was a total success ❤ she fit & healthy to this day ❤ but she has a double mastectomy coming up next year because she’s high risk now for breast cancer !
My other daughter was born with cystic fibrosis,
Physiotherapy 3x daily ,
Nebulisers x3 daily
60 tablets a day !
Growing up .
Life expectancy was just 15 yrs old back in the 80s
I cried & cried & cried
For years 😢
Fast forward Suzy 2020 new drug !!!!
Wow 🤩 it’s like she is cured ,
Miracles do happen & both my children are living proof ❤
But the poor family in your house breaks my heart 😢

The house is looking beautiful, you are definitely bringing the life back to it. The tiles look fabulous, I love them even more seeing them down. You have such an eye for colour and your vision for the home is just flawless. The front door and mantle are lovely I can’t wait to see it finished it will look stunning dressed for Christmas. I welled up listening to you talk about the old family in your house, it’s such a sad story. Thanks for sharing, can’t wait for the next renovation video x

Please get your house cleansed of all the sadness, do you get in touch with a local vicar or something 🤷🏽♀️ you have a lot of love now to put into that house. That's incredible sad story. 😢 It's so strange to think that in hundred years we all will be a history, definitely we need to live in present time since no one knows when our time will come. Yes, bless the house, pray over it and enjoy your life in it. 🤎

Oh how sad the history of the house! I honestly think it was fate Suzy I watched your video as the village where I live have opened a new sun bed shop and I was only thinking I haven’t been on a sun bed in years and years..definitely one to avoid. The house is looking beautiful bet it will be so lovely and cosy for Christmas xx

Very sad and I will die alone too although I've done my bit and signed up to sponsor a palliative care nurse for a year as I was so shocked at how my uncle was treated sorry this was not my usual upbeat comment x

Good on you for using the opportunity to talk to your neighbour. The son's may not of had a long life but they obviously Lived it large while they were here. Fortunately even though dad lived alone he wasn't alone at the end... yes, time to cleanse/bless and move on making a beautiful forever home for somebody. X

I just had melanoma skin cancer last year and I don't go in the sun or sunbeds 😢so it doesn't mean anything

Ooh my goodness 😢😢😢that's so tragic. Think I would of cried aswel. I know it sounds crazy but have you tried cutting a lemon in half and dip the lemon in baking soda and rubbed it on the window. As the acid in the lemon will get rid of the greasy mark, I use that method on my glass oven doors and it's brilliant no marks and grease is gone. And I really love that wooden mantle you've got it's really nice. Have a lovely week ahead, big hugs 🫂 to you, xx

If you go to your local library you can do some house research. The staff will help you find the family name in local records. You will satisfy yourself then by using birth, death & census or electors registers as to who lived there. I certainly would if my house was that old. Good luck hunting!
