I only discovered your channel this year and I have been watching some of your older videos. It will be fun to get to follow one of your adventures in real time. You are doing the trips that weekend warriors like myself dream of.
A much needed remedy for all the craziness now. So nice to see all the beauty, the people and of course the sound of bike tires on the gravel. And this was wonderfully filmed. I look forward to following you both on the trip to Cadiz. Thank you both so much for showing the beauty in the world around us and what joys there are on a bike.
Fantastic video, it's a quantum leap from previous. POV, local character portraits, sunsets, sunrises, downhill coasting have really captured the joy of bike touring. You're doing some seriously good photography. I'm glad you've seen some sunshine after all that rain.
Thanks for letting us know Jamie! Great to hear we are still taking steps. It can be hard to see ourselves sometimes. We always try to! The weather has been great on this trip so far :) All the best, E&M
Wow. What scenery and very little people. Really nice that guy came and opened his shop. You both are looking good. Can't wait until the next video. Take care, Al
Hello, I am very happy that your journey continues. As always, your video was fantastic for me. Great atmosphere in every respect. Thank you for taking me with you. It was very nice, best regards Bernhard
Waoow waoow, awesome to see my cycling playground in your vlog! Spain is magic at this time of the year, you made a great choice! Looking forward to seeing more!
Yay, very much looking forward to this tour! I hiked a section of the European distance trail (starting in tarifa and then staying south of the sierra Nevada) in February 2014. I remember the almond trees and stunning landscapes very well. Looking forward to see these areas from your perspective!
Feeling your 'pain' . Basically did the same trip but in the opposite direction back in 2018. There's no lack of elevation that's for sure. However you will be in very 'true' Spain. Very authentic and very untouched. A beautiful part of the world. Will be following your trip with interest.
This is such a lovely film. I’m excited to see more from you guys on this route. Thanks for including a map of your route, it really takes the story to the next level 🙌🏼. Buen camino!
I enjoy all of your videos and for some reason this one was special. Enjoy every moment of happiness, we never know how long will it last. Love you guys, take care of yourselves and keep enjoying life doing what you love, cycling but together is what makes it special. All the best to you!
Beautiful, fabulous and amazing !! :) Many thanks for another great movie !! :) It's good to see you !! :) Adventure, Unknown, Journey; you know the best! ;) Best for you !! :)
That sign at 3:29 "coto privado de casa" means private hunting preserve !! I would be very concerned about camping at such a place, especially in Spain.
You've already got this figured out, but the key to having fun biking in Spain is staying off the roads! And take lots of breaks for a cafe con leche. Don't be afraid to ask for a place to pitch a tent.... but in a pinch you can get away with bivying/cowboy camping in an olive orchard.
I live and tour in Spain. The video is real. You have to speak spanish and most of the land is private property that may not allow camping, so you will often be credit card touring.
You guys are just getting better and better at these, your story-telling has a beautiful and immersive quality, really enjoying them. Awesome landscapes!!
Lovely to see you guys out again on your bicycles. Beautiful countryside. I completely share your concern about finding a place to buy food when touring by bicycle. Look forward to the next video.
Very nice route. I did a big part of the south from the region almeria to cazorla heading south making a round trip It is amazing! The south of Spain has so many beautiful very well conserved national parks. Love your video's. Take care stay safe. Que buen aproveche!
Portugal is part of my heritage from my mother's side. I hope you two make it up there too. I here it is really beautiful and bike touring there is quite popular.
3:30 made me laugh so hard. I watched it a few times. Maudi getting onto her bike and the video reversing and forwarding with the sound of a dj stopping the record, song starting. So funny!
I've been following for a while now, and your videos just make me happy. Really well done, and you capture the spirit of wonder and adventure that cycle touring brings so perfectly. My wife and I are planning a ride around southwestern France in early May, and your new adventure is super inspiring. Happy and safe trails to you both!

Bikepacking dot com says 'tubeless is a must' for this route due to thorns and goatheads. What is your experience with this, would a good thick Schwalbe tire with some puncture protection work as well?
Fantastic video! I'm looking into cycling that area in March and was wondering a few things: would the weather be "good enough" (>10 d Celsius) to enjoy being outside all day, could I find spots to pitch my tent, and is the ride / culture / scenery interesting. I think this video answers all these questions with a "yes"! My sleeping bag is warm enough to about freezing, so I hope this will suffice in March. Do you two have a portable toilet? I just purchased one for those remote bike travels in my future days; It is collapsible, being all heavy duty plastic. When folded down the dimensions of it is; 11 x 11 x 2. The weight of it is 2.5lbs. Comments about this bike touring item?
Gotta love Europe, especially Spain.Once you get out of the major urban areas there is hardly anyone on the roads. I'm in southern California an it's a zoo, central California is slightly better but not like this. Maybe someday I'll get over there, in the meantime, stay safe.

Maybe I missed it, but how do you decide on where you will spend your nights...in the tent? My worry would be that I am trespassing....😢
Imagine a world where people take a nap after lunch. There would be no more wars.
No son Bananas ( son plátanos) 😅👍🏼 I'm so jealous of you guys this trip looks spectacular 😍 thanks for sharing your experience with us ☺️
Thanks for the language tip James 😉 Spain is lovely for cycling! If you have the chance... All the Best, E&M
@@WheelstoWander it's only in Spain they call them plátanos, so any other Spanish speaking countries use bannana 😅 no idea why. Hope you have a fantastic time! I really Wana do something like this 😀
Hi very beautifull landscape. could you send us the route you will follow from Valencia to Cadiz. I have planned to do my next trip in south of Spain 🇪🇸. Thanks 😊
Hi Said! The route link is down in the description of the video. Amazing route, Enjoy :)
Do you two have a portable toilet? I just purchased one for those remote bike travels in my future days; It is collapsible, being all heavy duty plastic. When folded down the dimensions of it is; 11 x 11 x 2. The weight of it is 2.5lbs. Comments about this bike touring item?
Great video guys. Spain has so many places to explore. What app do you use to find the routes? Thanks!
Gotta love Europe, especially Spain.Once you get out of the major urban areas there is hardly anyone on the roads. I'm in southern California an it's a zoo, central California is slightly better but not like this. Maybe someday I'll get over there, in the meantime, stay safe.
So what happened to the parents cottage? Thought you were heading there till warmer weather found you?
What is your playlist name for your series bikepacking Spain?
You've become pink noses again.🤭 Watching you gives me experience.🚲❤️ I love you guys regards from Türkiye 🇹🇷
