This is my workout music...and my study music, my tidying music, my relaxing music, my happy music, my angry music. Basically this is all I need to listen to for the rest of my life.
This is the first music of own choice I listened to in January 2018 when I was given my phone back eventually strong enough finally to move my arms enough to operate it after I had woken from a coma I wasn't expected to survive. I listened with free hospital earphones plugged into my phone, bear in mind out of coma, been in another world in my coma, still poorly, still spaced out, still unable to walk, unable to reach arms to own head to brush hair, unable to tell the time, music was a huge part of my recovery fight and this whole sound track had heart beat machinery sounds in it to me at the time, it was life force, alive and took me on a completely absorbed spaced out journey in my mind and around me visually in the reality.
I just want to say thank you to Danheim. If it wasn’t for accidentally finding this album on UA-cam, I wouldn’t have successfully completed my studies. It kept me calm and focused. Thank you.
Te das cuenta que no necesitas nadie cuando escuchas estos sonidos , y te das cuenta de que puede ser capaz una persona, disciplina, esfuerzo y temple.
This music is insane. I traveled through different countries by feet, listening to it, No matter how huge my pain was, it kept me going. At one point I could not even put on my shoes, my feet were bleeding and had blisters, my nose was burnt, I had no water, no orientation, my shoulder was wounded really badly and then a heavy storm raised. I was bare feet in the Mountains and about to loose my mind, then danheim gave me a new one

An author from Hungary here. It's hard for me to explain how much inspiration and motivation your amazing music has given me the past couple months. Last year I wrote a young adult novel about a young Hungarian guy who is totally in love with viking culture and worships the Norse gods - so you can imagine how it warmed my heart when I discovered your work. Keep up the beautiful work, we need it sooo much! Love from Hungary

This is absolutely the best music to train with, whether running, martial arts or conditioning, connects with a force inside, ancient warrior, tidings and thanks from north Scotland
Since I started listening to Viking / Pagan music I can put my headphones on, close my eyes and be transported to a place long ago. It gives me peace for a little bit and I can forget about the nightmares and stress of the present.
I used to reenact a musceteer, always wished to reenact a knight some day. When my father died, I was gifted a Mjolnir amulet and I started to listen to Danheim and Wardruna eventually. Over time I experienced many changes in my views and ways, I gained confidence and serenity and now forever will be very grateful. Thank you for the music!
Since I’ve discovered Viking music generally, and this band specifically...I can’t listen to anything else. I may not know what they are saying but I sure as hell know what they mean and I love it. There is no better music to drive to, workout, do yard work, etc...whatever. It’s just amazing music.
Played this on a speaker in the woods and about 20 minutes in a group of at least 10 ravens gathered dispursed and came back over the rest of the music. They made no noise, just listened. It was amazing.
First week after discovering this type of music i listened to heilung all day long for 5 days, then on week 2, i found myself in the backyard making a fire pit and having fires every morning and evening. And now on week 3 of going back to my root i have been inclined to start wood carving. I plan on carving my own Odin statue.
Listened to it during pregnancy and it was a life saver during labor!!! Now it's one if my all time favorite to listen to, very relaxing, focusing and empowering!!!
@@Just_Call_Me_Tim for me personally it was a connection to something more primal, and as for a natural birth which yes many women did and do, each one is a warrior. It set my mind to be calm but ready for the maximum pain out of which life comes. All the proper emotions were gathered, unnecessary were removed, and the rest was cerebral. And I had a boy, I belive each one has to have a warrior inside.. it was perfect. I did get a strange look from the nurses, since I had a small dim light and this playing..lol
Your child is going to grow up and go invade the UK now. Probably also sail to Canada and journey all the way to the Middle East. Also he will grow a beard at like age 10 and have a battle axe
This is one of the most honest, raw, bone splitting-ly awesome musical experiences I have encountered. This music evokes and resonates something deeper inside. A faint ember of an old fire that is inside us all at a primal level. Thankyou, tenfold!
Hey Danheim. I am soooo thankful for your music. As a founder I often have to stay super focused and the only music that gets me to that stage of a tunnel view, is yours. MUCH MUCH LOVE from Cologne Germany.

Every track on this album feels like a battle cry echoing across time. The raw power and intensity of Danheim's music transports me straight to the Viking Age. I can almost hear the clash of swords and feel the winds of the North. This isn’t just music, it’s a call to the warriors within us all.
LOL it is spiritually disconnected unconscious people it scares that has no contact with source nor mother earth. You seem to be conscious why it does not scare you. Ancestral root music is not scary it just is..Listen to the drums..If you connect to them it will bring you into a trance eventually. All tribal people knows this. I myself as you can see on my surname is an Swede, an norse ;)
You might be right, I am not sure if i have connections to the vikings or to the norsemen.. I'm mostly Russian by ancestry and abit ukrainian so maybe there's a slight chance that I do have norse\viking roots but there is something about this music that makes me feel really concentrated and down to my own spirit. I feel like I have something in common with the norsemen because I love their culture and their ways, I was never connected to any tribal\folk music as much as I am connected to their music.
We all have a tribal history in our ancestors. For some, the journey back is longer than for others, but it is part of being human. They saw violent times, that is true of most, but they also built trade between people and started a process long ago to link people together. Perhaps the biggest crime against humanity is the crime of forgetting our past. Sometimes it is horrifying, sometimes it is powerful, sometimes it is amazing. Each and every one of us has a responsibility to remember those who came before us. That is where immortality is found, in remembering and honoring our past while discovering that we are one species who shared many experiences, many dreams, and face many obstacles. We may find among our lines in distant past came peoples who knew only hate for one another. We are proof they overcame it. Think of this, be you Aboriginal peoples of any continent or great travelers who left their homelands behind, the challenges, the love, the needs were pretty much the same. Expand our minds and close the gaps!
Now that's what i'm talking about ! And that's where you make the difference between societies/communities exploring their past, assuming the mistakes, honoring the culture of both their elder and youth, and those who idealize, politicize and select their (H)istory in order to look toward the future solely, on their terms... Shame on them, truly, for building it with artificial materials, they'll end up having none...
This is a great explanation of somethings I try to convey to people in certain situations. It is written beautifully. May I quote you On a post I plan to make?
In the future, people who travel to Mars and create colonies will eventually stop identifying as people from Earth. And earthlings will be considered foreign, but hopefully not hostile.

This ol' thrash/metal fan finds this absolutely memorizing and fascinating! I hate that I get into it... and then an annoying commercial comes on. this music seems to start to help heal my heart after the recent passing away of my all time favorite dog, and best friend Braxton (a balken hound) that passed away in our hallway early in the morning hours a few mornings ago. He was 16 yrs young, and just had the sweetest heart. been in tears off and on (seems like mostly on) for the last few days, as everything around me is reminiscent of him, and I keep expecting to see him, esp in the morning when I wake up a little and remember that he is not around, nor will I ever see him again. sorry I need to vent a little my heart needs to heal, and I must put my feelings/heart out there in order to attempt to heal the slices and gouges that i feel.

I wanted to make it powerful, unique and mysterious. This video helped me tap into my creative source of energy 😍🙌 Thank you!

Man, I am African and I love viking music and culture.... I am just 6ft not as tall as these modern day Vikings but hell I would have made a fine berserker had I been born during the Viking age.
I love this music! I've recently taken a liking to this very sexy, hypnotic, and mesmerizing beat. It makes me feel as if I've been to these lands in my past life.
I am a mut of different lineages but have always really identified with my Swedish heritage and use this type of music when I workout and I periodically say a prayer to myself before sets that I’ll share here. The light of God consumes me and I stand in thanks for the present incarnation I am gifted with. This body gifted to me I say thank you. And in this day and in this moment I seize all that my body is capable of and I push it myself to its zenith. As my praise and recognition to the gift that has been given. To you my ancestors be with me and lend me your strength, we are one and I thank you for lending your strength and experience in this. *breathes deeply* *exhales*

I'm Mexican, Spaniard, Norwegian and Filipino. I've never felt close to any type of culture and my mother covered up any type of lineage after my father passed away. I had no idea of what I was composed of up until I was 16 and even to this day, I feel more closer ties to the folks from norway and the filipines. However, it's hard... trying to look back and see exactly where my family came from, and I'd love to know. I'm tired of this crap of being "American" and having that stand for something when in reality, we are all immigrants to this nation and agree to live here under certain terms. I was driving my truck when I began to listen to this. My truck grew legs and a blazing fire engulfed my headlights, before I knew it I was charging the battlefields of valhalla with my ancestors....HUZZAH!
Absolutely amazing music! Makes me proud to be of Viking heritage
The drums Whow i love it...Greetings from the North Frisians.Thx Danheim.
Stort tack för denna ljuvliga musik.
Cheers from Dalarna, Sweden.
För Sverige!!! ;)
Greetings from America I Love your language culture and music. Best language I've ever learned next to German. (Germanic language so cool thanks to your ö,ä och å.)
Skål from Vejle,juttland 🇩🇰
My northern roots is awaking (I'm danish/swedish). Love this music....(Love the drums) I miss my yearly middle age marke(Hope I can go their in may/june)t in Denmark - were I dress up as a viking, drinking mead. listning to viking and middle age music. dancing and walk barfoot around.
that area is full of snowflakes (wimps) these days. sad and surprising.
@@genkiferal7178 hey, some people wanna act a certain way and attract that attention. They are ignorant to a reality that a challange is a challange, no matter who it is. Respect is earned not given, and backing down is sometimes a good idea, but for the sake of honor, I don't think it'll ever be.
I listen to this everyday for inspiration to seize the day (or a town)
While camping in the woods, I played this as I laid in the sun for a nap, woke up to a hawk that landed on my arm and 7 wolf's laying around me napping as well. Epic times I tell y'all
What's so awesome is that we've created an entire genre of music that we have no idea what it's supposed to sound like - but I bet the Norsemen would approve!
I am Swedish and I love to hear the music of my culture and it also helps to calm me down skal my brothers and sisters
Same here in Canada.. funny how I knew I had Viking blood in me veins.. we must be distant cousins lol
All vikings just fucking bandits, sociopaths and sadists.

This music is inspiring me to write the opening scene of my first book and while I'm writing I look down at my notebook and notice the animation playing next to it, which inspired me so much more 💜 I wanted to avoid the opening scene cliches. I wanted to make it powerful, unique and mysterious. This video helped me tap into my creative source of energy 😍🙌 Thank you!
Now I am your fan! Your music goes into me so deeply that I don't even know where it is. The theme of runes and Scandinavia covered me with a powerful wave. You are gods! I love you! Keep creating! Millions of subscribers to your channel and the same number of likes under each of your masterpieces!
BEAUTIFUL ! Danheim added to my small greatly selected playlist with Wardruna & Heilung ♡ BEAUTIFUL 🔥

When the ice breaks we sail for England
Rollo the walker:”sure”
How many boats and mans do you have
you are american why you say this?
Odin commands we do not wait ... Forward! Break the ice! We sail at dawn!
You have my sword!
Listening to this as I plan a Viking-themed D&D session.
Awsome =)
All of my senses are alive when I listen. I can not stop, I am in love with the sounds. My body thrives and comes alive. I feel as if I have known it forever. It is my heart beat.
Danheim back at it again
As a Norwegian why dide my Google search history just pop opp with axes for sale, how to build a long boat and sea routes to England 😗

English just "Dide" in your hands.
I am English but from a bloodline of viking Kings who settled here, I will happily assist you with safe passage into the kingdom of England
I've used it in my workout several times, it is awesome, but the music and the art! Ímar and Ivar's Wrath are my favourites!
We listen to this with our daughter nearly every night for bed. This music has become a huge thing for our family ✌✌✌
In that case I advise you to check out Wardruna and Heilung if you're not familiar with these bands.
My 2 year old could not settle tonight. After 5 minutes of him listening to this he was snoring. Love it :)
Man, I am African and I love viking music and culture.... I am just 6ft not as tall as these modern day Vikings but hell I would have made a fine berserker had I been born during the Viking age.
I am mediterranean, but the viking spirit is in my heart aswell
you all were vikings in your past incarnations then

Same hereeeee ✌🏽
I love this music! I've recently taken a liking to this very sexy, hypnotic, and mesmerizing beat. It makes me feel as if I've been to these lands in my past life.
I have a habit to listening to this every day for several days on end. Anyone annoying wants to hang out? Meditate on this.
I swear they brought some Norse bards/skalds and shamans back to life to make this album, and they just recorded it.
Rollo the walker:”maybe what they did.”
Oh we do that every midsummer at IKEA whilst eating meatballs.
Don't tell the secret man!
Who says we ever died?
Young people in 21st century: Cool Viking music. The music of our ancestors!
Vikings after landing with a time machine: What the hell is this shit?
This is my work out music when I'm doing 5000 meters rowing
This is properly really god music then
going to France ??/)))
Rollo the walker:”keep on rowing, us nords went from what you call Sweden down to Normandy.”
@@silvertheelf And you sang: "row row row your boat gently down the stream..." all the way to Normandy.
Still training to be accepted in a drakkar? or are you now in one and about to hit the English coast?
11:11 Danheim - Folkvangr was ringing in my head all day long been trying to find it. The song found me today :)) nice!
It's official. This album will be played every time i travel to a new location i have never been to before.
I've been hearing this for 4 years and never get tired of it
Глубоко проницаемая музыка,как будто что то древнее просыпается в глубине души и мотивирует на великие поступки!!!

THIS IS THE BEST! Greetings from northern Germany to København
Was shaving some morning stubble while listening to this. When finished, had a full beard with braid beads.
I understand why, I just don't understand how someone can just let their legacy go... This music really hit me :/
the Philippines and Norway are both amazing. Been both places!
Danheim I definitely would want to learn their languages to get me around but I imagine both places are filled with so much culture :) I’ll have to make the trip sometime
Listening to this war music while studying because finals is a war on my sanity
Rollo the walker:”that’s why I just didn’t do finals, I kept raiding. Haha”
My go to playlist for when I am studying or doing homework. Love it 😍
I don't know but I always seem to fall asleep to it, not that its a bad thing. I wake up smiling I love this music. But I keep yawning and I've been putting up yule tonight. Keep making more music I adore it. Thank you for sharing it with the world.
