What is the max level for the workshop? I want to max out everything before moving onto other cities, to take advantage of the idle resource recharge.

Me too, I'm on lvl 109 with fire thing (Feuerstelle, I play in german). Did you found out what the max is?

@@Tenmonchi I recommend giving up, and just moving onto other cities.
Max level is either 250 or 255 according to other players (so it may be lower. I do not have confirmation, just heresy.)
I did a quick algebraic equation based on the increase of wood needed from one level of the workshop to the next... and I calculated it would take 400 days, playing 5 hours a day, to max the workshop, with likely zero reward. I sent a message to the dev team, asking for the max to be capped at 100 or 120, and reduced in other cities where it would take weeks or months to max out different buildings. I doubt it will make a difference. Have fun with everything else though!
