“Wassup big pimpin” 😂 love this kids energy and vibe and he’s ready to get to work “aye coach I need that playbook ASAP” Gonna be a fan favorite if he developed into his potential 🔥🦅 GO BIRDS
Ya, I cracked up when he said that to Howie . Seems like a good kid and I hope he works hard and becomes the player he should be .
"its going great im an eagle ahhhaa" yeah he gonna fit it just fine
In a phone call and a press conference he’s already a favorite
Eagles fans are rooting for you, Jalyx!
Let’s Gooooo!!
🦅

BG is gonna love this guy. Learn from him. 55 is a legend
Absolutely. Phuck yea
Im getting Trent Cole vibes, I'll take it 💪🦅
His personality makes you root for him
This guy seems like a genuinely great dude
Warm and insightful guy. The type of personality you want in the locker room. Hope he develops as Fangio envisions because he’s the type of guy fans and young players will gravitate towards.
This is a man you want in your team.
Big pimpin
What's up Big Pimpin 😂 that made my day when I hurd that
Great personality. Think he’s going to do well.
I like this kids personality his smile and his happiness is infectious. Seems like a really good kid who was raises right. I hope he develops and stays a while
This guy is going to surprise a lot of people a very surprising n good pick
He reminds me of Ryan Howard
Ooh good call.
Spot on 😮
Welcome to Philadelphia
First time ever hearing about this young man was when the Eagles drafted him. Yet, his energy, attitude, athleticism and experience playing multiple positions from high school through college has me thinking that he’s going to be an All-Pro in a few years! The quality coaching he’ll be receiving, being able to settle into one position (I think Fangio is going to put him at Weakside LB to give him advantages blitzing and covering backs and TEs. He’s not going to be a backup for long! Wishful thinking, but it’s the vibe I get from this kid! I think he’s gonna be special!!
Welcome to Philly! Great fan base here u will fine that out..great food here too
I really like this kid. Great personality. Thankful he is an Eagle🦅
Good luck buddy. Go birds
I like him already.
Great pick!! Howie really did his part this offseason
This guy is going to be a star, can't wait to see him progress 🦅🦅🦅
Hidden gem 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Big pimpin!!!!!
Damn made sure to thank everybody that congratulated him 🔥
I noticed that too, it may not seem like much, but to me that speaks volumes about a person and says a lot about they type of person they are. He comes off as very intelligent not just about football but about life in general, having all his teammates and coaches with him to celebrate together says a lot as well. From what I see so far, loving the player and the person and wishing him lots of growth and success on and off the field
I love this kids energy and willingness to get the playbook already to get ready to learn
What a great young man
Oh he gonna fit it fine with his hard work attitude
Bro I had no idea who u where bit the more I learn the more excited I get. I love this. I love your name. I love your brain. Go out and ball out brother
This is going to be a fun season for the season
I didnt get it at first, my dumbass wanted Trotter Jr. 😂. Now that ive seen highlights and this interview im sold, plus Howie cooked and we got Jr too.
He seems well adjusted. I hope he's like BG one day!
Welcome Jalyx
Can’t wait for camp to start, I love this pick and so many of them others. It will be exciting to see the young guys from last year’s draft and how they have progressed.
Love tbhs kid, ill be rootin for him
Welcome 2 Philly J Hunt his about to be a fans favorite.
Good dude, happy for him
Another mild mannered young man with the whole world in front of him. I really hope he can develope into a quality player. Very likable dude.
Such a tuff name and hope he becomes great , great person
Welcome to Philly!💚🦅💚
I hope there's video somewhere of his family's reaction to him being drafted. We heard how crazy it was during the draft call, but I'd love to see the video of it.
Yea he’s gointo be a homegrown home run great pick howie❤️🐐
Seems like an awesome person. Looking forward to see what he can do on the field.
Hey coach, get me that playbook asap. I think Philly is going to like this kid. Welcome to Philly Jalyx!!!
🦅 🦅🦅🏈
Big Pimping… Instant fan favorite
Y’all never know, this dudes the type of guy bill belicheck looks for, freak athlete, insane fuckin motor, bro never stops running, and has power to push people back. He needs coaching up when it comes to finesse and pass rush moves but he’s got major upside.
This guy is awesome!
This kid attitude is brilliant. Now we all see why he was picked where he was. Fly Eagles Fly
Awesome dude
Huge personality 🔥🔥🔥 if u play half as good as you talk Philly will love you
Go get 'em kid!!! ❤
Looks like we got some kids with talent and the right wiring upstairs 👀😁
Woulda loved this guy getting a year around Fletch and Reddick
Reddick went to the jets my man
@@tuyenbui and Fletch retired, that’s why I would have, and am not going to.
Please Come back to this comment if in 5 years … this draft is going to be one to remember. Mark my words !!!! Dynasty OTW 😤
Hell yeah, hope he balls out
First off his name if Jalyx so right away you know he’s going to be a star. And besides that his physical tools give him one of the highest ceilings in the draft. He was being mis sold as an edge rusher when he’s really projecting to be a coverage linebacker who is more of a Swiss Army knife type.
He is very impressive! Reminds me of Ricky Waters.
He’s ready to be a sponge. Many prospects drafted are too nervous to step out of their comfort zone and seek a close mentor.
He and Nolan are both extremely upbeat and positive edge players who I can see becoming buddies.
Asking these draft picks have they heard about the teams and players on that team is about the worst, most wasted questions!! "Have you heard about the Eagles?"!! Come on!! I like that the team was paying attention to HBU players!
He look like AJ Brown on defense😂😂 I think he'll do well like his twin
I see a Special Teams Demon starting out in 2024 on coverage Teams and work his way into a pass rotation come 2025
Lol "how much do you know about the Eagles?" I get the question was more intended for coaches, personnel and teammates. But it did sound like "have you ever heard of the Eagles or the city of Philadelphia?" 😂
After the phone call I wasn’t expecting him to be as polished as he was I thought he was gonna talk like Jalen Carter lol
He has to be talking about Brian Burns right not Brian Branch lol
Couldn’t like this kid any more!
Man these reporters love coming after the players. What’s with the edgy questions. He’s willing to put in the work and that’s it.
Brother looks like KRS-1
😂 nah he don’t
This dude may be smaller but he is fast and knows how to beat blocks
No he does not beat blocks… dude disappears when he gets blocked and that’s against really small school league.. this guy will be a coverage edge
@@calieagleswtf is a coverage edge
Question, how do they get EAGLES gear within minutes after receiving “the call”?
They families probably buy a bunch of different Hats and then just grab the team that selected him
@@ThatmanShowtimeAgents handle that, but the Eagles would have overnight delivered him a welcome package with all types of gear already, they don’t play.
@@ThatmanShowtimethe agents usually have a bunch of team merch, particularly the hats
Our media ask some dumb questions
Only if Siriani was this good in his press conferences 😅
Hey Dave why didn’t you ask why he’s not white
Seriously what a weird question to have asked Cooper DeJean, it was a max level cringe question that, thankfully Cooper answered with grace and intelligence. That question was so dumb.
I wonder if anyone in the draft has gotten a scam caller during the draft. They think it's a certain team and it's just an Indian dude trying to sell you a fake car warranty.
Seems like a nice young man. However, he will never see the field if we're lucky. I went back and watched his senior bowl videos and he never won a single matchup. Another Shareef Miller pick for Howie, only a round earlier. Wasted pick. Sad for the young man, but at least he'll get a four year paycheck most likely.
kid has been drafted for a day and you have his whole career arc determined, my word give the kid a chance before you just write him off completely, to me that seems short sighted and pre deterministic. It could go a number of ways, it is up to him and the coaches to get the most out of his talent and potential.
@@Shiz514 The same can be said for every young man in the draft. You've said exactly nothing. But from history, these picks almost never work out for Howie. They fall in love with the person and forget it's about the player. The one time it's worked out was a seventh rounder, Mailata. Not a third rounder. There were a lot of great players available. Of course, I'm taking a guess. But I watched his reps at the senior bowl, and he showed exactly nothing.
Bust
Judge ye not lest ye be judged
Regardless still won the draft 😂 2 of the best DBs with the best value….underrated WRs and Jeremiah Trotter Jr in 5th
3rd round pick cant be a bust idiot. Everyone drafted after the 2nd round are developmental talents or because of injuries.
He’s an interesting project… will basically play passing downs only… he gets swallowed up by blocks in a small school league.. and definitely won’t be a pass rusher in the nfl… coverage edge basically.. I don’t see him ever becoming a productive pass rusher in the nfl… could end up being a good off ball LB maybe
Damn dog give homie a chance
I think thats why he's a project this year, to get him up to snuff so he can compete as a rusher and run defender. He's gonna be the 5th edge on a stacked defense right now so he's gonna be slowly worked in while he learns and grows. I think he's better as a 3-4 LB with his prior S experience, but I can see us keeping his hand in the dirt and letting Graham mentor him like Cole once did for him and Cox
@@Swaggmire215 i know right ppl said the same about hassasn hes in the best place to find out
Thank the lord you’re not scouting players for the eagles
@@welldoneproductions9416No he is actually way more accurate albeit negative than most others because he is right about Jalyx being a coverage linebacker, but the idea a 6’4 254 linebacker will get swallowed is hilarious.
Basically threw this pick right in the trash. Not sure what Eagles FO looks for exactly but they suck at scouting DEs and OLBs, basically used a 3rd rounder to draft a practice squad player with special teams upside..
That’s just not true. Trent, Brandon, Josh, derrick Burgess, ND Kalu Everyone misses high sometimes just happen few of ours we’re at this position Marcus Smith , Jerome McDougal also got stabbed and missed mad time) but middle rounds we hit very often. N we rarely invest high picks in Lb so can’t every really say it’s a miss. When we took Hicks in 2nd he was good just couldn’t stay healthy
@@terrancehines3491 I don't mind taking middle-late round gambles on athletic freaks but Hunt went to a school nobody has ever heard of and outside of broad jump his combine wasn't super impressive for such a weak class of edge rushers. This pick was given to Fangio to throw away, because they probably promised him he could be more involved in personnel if he came here as DC. Fangio doesn't spend the year on the road scouting guys all over the country and even world for some of our international scouts. To let him pick a guy because he liked his highlight tape is pretty wack but maybe it will pay off. Who knows. Fangio won't even be here then to find out lol.
Seems like a cool dude
Let's go Big Dawg, go super hard in the weight room. Put yourself in the best situation to compete.
