@@michaelcarson121 You do have some gm’s are better at drafting for sure than Howie. Usually the teams who draft well you don’t see make a bunch of trades or signing a bunch of free agents (which how has done). Steelers and Ravens for example.

Definitely not 2022 for Philly compared to Baltimore we got two players who are or close to be the top players at their position in the league.
Eagles secondary struggled for last 8 years. And I blame Howie for that. He finally opened his eyes and addressed the problem. I mean, like last year we were worst in giving up touchdown passes. That’s incredible!

This year's picks seem to match the positions of players drafted out of the University of Georgia the past couple of years. I suppose it's not too soon to call Smith, Dean and Ringo busts. That ain't "year after year."

Philly has added so much speed to their slow secondary from last yr. Isaiah Rodgers 4.28 speed. Mitchell 4.33. Dejean doesn't have the fastest 40 time but we can all see his speed and quickness on the field. I hope he starts at safety.

@justgrow- what has Reed proven? That he was the best safety on a team with horrible safeties? I don't hate the guy, but if you draft an "safety" with a rou d 1 grade for most, an all American amd was on one of the best defenses in the country, why is it crazy for me to want him to start? Over a young safety who gets injured.

Soon as Howie traded down from 78 I pulled up the FA O-linemen. Only veteran depth they have is Hennessy. One guy and he's IOL. Probably got in touch with Becton's agent right then. Howie's ahead of the game. Always.

If there was any question about the degree of Roseman’s foresight, 2021’s draft transactions should put it all to bed.
March 17: Traded Carson Wentz to the Colts for Indianapolis’ third-round pick (84th overall) and a conditional 2022 first-round pick.
March 26: Traded 6th overall pick and pick 156 to the Dolphins for the 12th overall pick, pick 123, and a 2022 first-round pick.
April 29: Traded 12th and 84th pick to the Cowboys for the 10th overall pick, which was used to select Alabama WR DeVonta Smith.
Lets all remember who the cowboys got an extra 3rd round pick from the Genius Roseman to draft - Micah Parsons
Oh yes, lets not forget who rushed in to overpay Wentz so he could later trade him away and get called a genius.

I mean they only drafted 6 people in 2020. Quez gave a little production as well as Jack Driscoll but I don’t mind the bust in that draft. I think the last 3 drafts have been good with key ppl in there. Not everyone is gonna pan out but he has added some great pieces.

It was the middle linebackers and the scheme. We played so far off the receivers we gave the qb a target right off the snap which then made it easier to confuse our corners when we tried to adjust.
U never know how a player will turn out. It’s all about the process behind your selections. And when it comes to process, no one does it better than the eagles
Eagles had some bad first round picks. Danny Watkins, Reagor, Dillard come to mind. Howie has been killing it lately. When you’re not in fear of your job all the time. Boom. Ya get a guy that knows the system.

When Florio said " The Eagles have no needs" I was def scratching my head. Secondary had many issues last season and Slay is getting old so 2 Great looking young DBs early was big. Jalyx may turn out great but I think he was the only reach for the Eagles, He would've probably been there in the 5th.
Whenever Chris simms has to talk good about the Eagles its a great video he was drunk on draft night but after this draft if you give it anything less than a A plus then your hating

Falcons made brilliant move and they can't talk about it. Why? The NFL will punish Atlanta for tampering with Kirk Cousins and lose one or more first round picks. Who knows when they get another one? Probably communicated to Kirks' agents about what they had to do. Nobody has to deny anything and Kirk will understand why. Wise move by thinking ahead; taking advantage of an unexpected opportunity and then acting on it immediately.
Every general manager makes mistakes in the draft picking one guy with a shouldn’t have picked a guy who sucks really bad and turns out to be one of the bad pics and the draft for that general manager, every team has done it
