We had such a great squad at the time under McCarthy,the players were at the top of their game you know Playing with the top teams and playing in the champions league level which was amazing as it was,but I think the players we’ve got now at the moment we can only do good stuff and if we fail to lose the ball in control whether it’s midfield or defender, we would get a draw or lose or win,but it’s what it is, I don’t blame anything on the players who we have got,but the main problem is Hendrick and Hourinhane,you know players who will let you down time after time,it’s not good enough,they’re blaming on their mistakes and they way they are doing.
What a team we had back then
Portugal and Netherlands and didn’t lose a game. We had a world class player and a good team. Maybe nostalgia but we played decent football.

Dutch are in the quarter finals again this year and we havnt been in a single WC in twenty. FAI need to pull the finger out.
