When I watched this movie, I was always wondering when the real Goku was gonna appear and kick this imposter’s ass
I was 14 when this film came out, and at that time I wanted to see almost every movie that came out.
Thankfully I was smart enough not to blow money on this POS.

+Good Day Ya know I think it's good that Goku's going to school because one of the things I hate about Goku is that he's one of the greatest fictional marshal artist and yet he has no education, other anime characters such as Naruto, Luffy, Ichigo, Medaka and some others can't beat him when it comes to fighting but when it comes to education they can all beat him without even trying. I know the movie could have been better but at least Goku is getting smarter while he's getting stronger.

Talon Smart (Closedverse) to be honest DBGT isn't so bad as people say it is yeah true it had flaws but it was still epic and did a fantastic sendoff the the franchise until DBZ Kai and DB Super brought back the amazing franchise but yes it is definitely over 9000% Better than this crap.

Actually, it's never known if ChiChi knows anything about Ki. However, most likely she learned about it before the World Tournament because she seen the destructive power of it through Roshi's Kamehameha Wave.
Ki seems to be a normal thing for Martial Artists back in Dragonball, it's just that not all of the could manipulate it to the level of extent that the Z Warriors can.
She probably does as her father is the ox king and he trained under roshi. Then again the clothes the ox king picked for kid chi chi sucked

If the real Goku was to fantasize about this Chi-Chi eating strawberries, he’d completely forget about her and think about eating the strawberries. That’s how wrong this version of Goku was done. It baffles me how the filmmakers didn’t understand one of the most iconic fictional characters from the last 40 years. If anything, Goten from Dragon Ball GT would act like this, not Goku, who never once had any sort of real romantic interest in Chi-Chi.
At least this Goku cares about Chi-Chi and isn't only with her based on a misunderstood promise.

Also, I think all the sequels have been cancelled due to negative reviews of the first movie, here's hoping that I'm right.
Wonderful comment! The Goku in the movie is a lot closer to the post-cell Gohan (if he's close to anything at all). After all, Goku never tried to marry Chi-chi; their engagement was practically an accident (from Goku's side).

it was released in cinemas worldwide, but the marketing was so piss poor that you probably didntr hear about it, hence your question. i saw one advert for this on tv, at about 11 on channel 4 in the uk, Yh movie was aimed for kids and it was shown there after big brother on a school night. just wiki this movie
