Soon as you started driving it I thought 'Man.. this dude knows what he's doing so why does that mesh sound so bad?'. Also, check the pitch of the gear. I'm guessing it's a mod 5 for the spur but if it's not matched it'll never mesh right. Glad you did some videos on this thing. I been interested.
Oh yeah it's matched. 32p. Just a bigger pinion than what came in the kit. The sound was the rear dogbone bent. I put in the cvd axles and it was perfect. Made that video today.
@@heavymetalrc7520 word on the axels. But the mesh still sounded off prior. I couldn’t find LCs pitch specs but it’s unusual that it wouldn’t be a metric pitch. You might wan’t to sanity check that. Looking forward to more videos.
Hmmm I'm not sure exactly what pitch lol. They come in the kit but don't say. I rechecked and it's all good. The buggy sounds like that too.
Its .5 mod i believe. They say 32 pitch works , just not perfect

Do you have a problem blowing diffs out ? I’m constantly replacing ring or Pinion gears. I only run it on 2s and don’t even abuse it.

So what was the problem? The front tires were still ballooning. Was there something not connected or slipping in the rear

They're more pricey but extremely good quality. I always recommend lc racing.

Get the kit if you can. It's awesome comes well put together and it's fun putting it together. You can definitely tell how high quality it is while putting it together.

What pinion size did you upgrade to?
I have no clue man lol. Sorry Ray. I have a drawer full of pinions. I feel like I ran stock on that one. Maybe not though.

To be fair a lot of UA-camrs have a specific persona that they use for their channel that doesn't necessarily represent who they are in real life. The vast majority of people don't insert two to three swear words in every single sentence so it's not crazy to think that is part of the persona you're trying to present to the camera.
Oh..well I see your point. But that is exactly how I am in real life lol. I made a point to be the same person as I am off camera. It works I guess.
