This song seems to be a fusion of Les gemissements de Jeanne d'Arc and GLORY : ROAD. The melody is very good, and I get why the song may be too fast for others, but the energy this song gives out is just infectious and and invigorating that I would love to play it in Arcaea.
idk how to explain it but i think i'd like the song a lot more if it sounded more like a 17 and not a 20. i like it though and it's still way better than some of the other 20s lol
@@skadia9404 i guessss but like sdvx songs have to be super compressed and glued together like that due to the nature of how the game works with fx. -6db compression does objectively suck though lol

@@JinoBeats i can see that, it definitely doesn’t help that the duration cap for sdvx songs is like 2:20 (excluding bl∞min’ and a couple of others), it would sound better if it was like 3:30-4:00 in duration honestly. it’s definitely trying to fit a lot into one little piece (and if the BPM wasn’t 280, lowering it to 234 would do it justice) i do kinda see it as suddendeath meets mixxion which is cool but it’s definitely not the best

@@JinoBeats i think xeroa and xronier work because they don’t have a big melody throughout the song unlike this imo. they both have their complex melodies in the 2nd drop for a little, but they don’t maintain that melody throughout the song (unlike this). this keeps the high bpm AND the big melody throughout the whole song, a lil obnoxious tbh. a song like this with a lower BPM, maybe 190-210? would sound better. chiharu kaneko did that same idea in Re:minescence and it turned out wonderful. i definitely agree on the overproduction aspect of this song. back on topic though, xeroa and xronier keep the melody and speed aspects balanced, it’s not in your face the whole time tl;dr: 250+ bpm songs need to balance speed and melody, this song doesn’t do that
