Please be very careful with Mose and the deer. Especially when they have fawn, they will attack if feeling threatened. I work in veterinary medicine and have seen some bad outcomes. I just love Mose and want him to be safe.
I like your comment about how sometimes you find stuff and sometimes your wife finds things. I went thrifting with my sister, who knows I resell stuff, and she handed me a plate I wouldn't have even looked at. It was Lenox china and it turns out that it regularly sells for $50 on eBay. It was tagged $10, but it was half off, so just $5 for me. I told my sister I'd give her a commission. 😀
Also... we have a shop that I store most of my inventory in. I was discussing with my husband just last week about the possibility of us putting a washer and dryer out there. That way the thrifted clothes, plush, textiles, etc. never even have to come in our house. Plus, we are working on building our homestead and the clothes that get dirty from that could be washed out there as well 😀
Going over the haul: until u get the new shop fully set up, you might consider filming with a folding white COSCo type table between u and the camera, so you don’t have to spend time on film, or editing out all the bending over to pick up items. If u have a work surface, all the product can be up at a better height in front of you. I still have about a dozen of the 4, 6 and 8’ folding tables and pop as many as I need, where I need them (inside or even outside on nice days) for processing and holding product as I work. Keeps soft goods off the floor and cleaner. Even the good ones are not that expensive, often available used and are extremely versatile. I often work with totes/IKEA bags under and product up on top and get double use out of the floor space. Sometimes I even photograph long items right on their white surfaces, saving the walk to the photo area.
Been thinking about this for a while and decided to give it a go and just made my 1st sale (and profit 😁), seems alot easier in the US than the UK, love the new house btw 📦📦
Can tell you are young when you showed Haley's vintage find--it is a slip, or petticoat, and before the 1970's was always worn UNDER a dress. Not much call for them nowadays, but would work as a nightgown. The bins store I got to go to in PA recently had carts and supposedly subtracted the weight of the cart from the total weight. Still came out rather high. I think the bags are a better way to go!
The bins were overwhelming! We enjoyed meeting y’all at the bins. We don’t have bins anywhere in our area, I imagine it takes getting used to digging through.
Haley has the touch when it comes to finding valuable clothing items, I've never been that lucky when it comes to clothes. Love watching you both, I've learned so much since I started reselling.
My favorites are your videos when u go to the bins Goats r awesome for clearing properties n soo entertaining. …I like the Nigeria dwarf breeds …u can put them in a closer when playing outdoors…
I am half-way through the video and have to say that I LOVE your videos. I remember when you were early on UA-cam and trying to reach maybe 5,ooo or 10,000. You share such helpful information and get great items. I am jealous as here in New York where I live (small country village) NO bins stores, etc. within 2 hours. Finally, your wife is amazing too -- watching her grow has been heart warming. Haily you are a natural. God Bless you both.
This may sound crazy but you can rent a herd of goats to come and clear out your property. Depending on how much you have for them to eat they stay a few hours or days and then get loaded back up. People near me use them to eat poison ivy/oak. Might be worth checking out.
That’s not crazy at all! I live in an area that uses goats for fire mitigation. There are several herds that travel around. It’s kind of a big business!
Love the yard/house updates. I know you're starting to get heavier volume but would love another sales pull video. Seems like it's been a while (unless I've missed some). Keep up the amazing work!
A question my wife and I have had is why are people willing to pay so much for used shoes? I get the understanding behind like collectors shoes and basketball shoes and such. But more common shoes even tho they are in decent shape how are they still so much? I guess everyone's willing to pay what it takes to get it.
For me personally, new quality athletic shoes are crazy expensive and the ones I like best have been discontinued. If I can find someone who bought them new and can tell me how many miles have been run in them it’s usually a much better price
This was a really enjoyable video, thank you. Not sure how old Mose is, but old dogs can learn new tricks, how much fun would it be if he could retrieve the discs for you? Teach him to drop them at your feet for a small treat. I know I and your viewers would get a kick out of seeing Mose learn to fetch and return! You can stake the goats in the area you need them to 'mow', move the stake as they clear. Have a shelter and a high fence for them at other times with hay bales, tires, logs to jump and climb on. You have beautiful property, enjoy it, you and Hayley certainly deserve it!
@@HairyTornado ha ha! our Boxer would fetch and bring the ball back but then she wouldn't give it to us! she would finally drop it but if we tried to pick it up, she would swoop in and grab it! silly dogs, gotta love them!
Hi, I am glad that you mentioned washing the purse in the washing machine. I have a Madewell tote that is very dirty inside and I was going to donate it to Goodwill, but I am going to give it a try in the washing machine first. Thank you. I always enjoy your videos.

Couple of days ago I went to this other thrift store thinking it was by itself but next to it was the indoor flea market thingy and next to that was another thrift store and let's just say I got some pretty rare things that can go for a hell of a lot of money!!
took care of the goats when I lived on a commune near Taos NM, loved them. The milk was great, if you get goats, get nannies or if you get the boys, get them neutered, they stink and rut. I live in CA, I think we should get goats, they would eat the brush and that would help reduce the fires.
Love the disc golf course. Great finds with the camera & Hello Kitty plush. Cover your cost with those 2 items for sure. Mose has the run of the land and is enjoy his life. Blessings for the whole family.
If you are wondering or questioning vintage hats the green under brim is often a vintage hat… obv there is new ones with green under brims but the vintage looking hats
First off I have to say thanks for great content.. Been flipping for a bit now off and on. But turned it into a fulltime thing, leapt feet first. And you and Haley have been a great source of help and inspiation. And your videos, like this one, going to the "Bins" of Goodwill Have netted me some decent profits. Thanks again
Love your videos! When we find items, like the Doonie & Burke Purse, that need to be cleaned, we contact the company and ask how to properly clean them. We have never had a company not answer us. Also, is the vintage slip silk? Silk slips and pantyhose are very expensive. As suggested, find a way to rent the goats.
Love your videos. I used to have a goat, but she thought she was a dog. She didn't clear much, but I loved her to pieces. And it's ok to show when you don't find things. We also learn when you say why you wouldn't choose something. Helps me learn what not to choose as well. Keep up the good work!
I think just helping to keep it "real", even if he doesn't want to show when he doesn't find anything at a store, he could say in the videos "This is the Goodwill we went to today, but we also went to three other stores today and didn't find anything at them" just so we have an idea that in his day he had to go to 4 stores to find stuff at only one.
Josh and Hayley, I love to watch your Video's. It's so nice to follow such caring people. The reason you are popular is because you have great content in your Video's. It's not just about buying and selling for profit with your Channel. It's about real day to day life as a Reseller. You help tons of people with your honesty and advice. You talk to "us" not the Camera, I feel like I'm there having a conversation with you. Keep up the great content and I'm sure we'd all love to see more of the new house and Mose. Happy Bargin Hunting!! Love you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ P.S. looking forward to more Frisbee Golf Shots
I love when y'all go to the bins. Y'all always find some cool stuff. Your forest is looking great. What do you think Mose would think about goats? Lol. Love you guys. Keep doing what you do. ♥️✌️
You and Haley are such generous people and I love ❤ that you are sharing your adventures and knowledge with us!!! No matter what you find, or don't find, team work makes the dream work. You 2 are an awesome team.👍❤❤ God bless 🙌 🙏 and keep the videos coming!!!
I love dumpster diving both in and outside lol. I actually found a bunch of sneakers in boxes this past Saturday at an apartment complex I always go to in a wealthy area
Thank you for talking about how some days you don't find anything! I know that's true, but easy to forget when we watch all the successes you and other resellers have when sourcing. I only get out once or twice a week to source and last week I went twice and found practically nothing and became very discouraged. I realize now in the past I've just been fortunate to usually find enough to at least justify the time I spent out sourcing.
I've been watching your videos constantly for the past week or so! We have been selling Pokemon cards on ebay for the last 8 months so I was familiar with some parts of ebay but when it comes to reselling, your videos have been incredibly informative!! Just starting stopping at local thrift stores and got our first non-pokemon sale last night!
*Where it started* Indoor golf trick shots *Where you are now* Disc golf in your new backyard. You and Hailey are an inspiration to many of us! A lot of hard work (and a healthy spiritual life) go a long way, even (especially?) in today's world. Thank you for sharing your walk with us. I for one am learning something every step of the way.
I have two goats! They are awesome but are great escape artists and can jump onto cars and cause overall chaos. I think goats would be a great addition to the youtube channel and would definitely keep your weeds and shrubs to a minimum. Love the new place, thanks for sharing.
They make plastic frame like cases for hats so you they can be cleaned in >dishwasher < without losing their shape. You probably know this, but just in case you don't. They work great.
Josh, with those woods, and deer, please check Mose for ticks. If he gets bitten, he can get Lyme disease. If the tick gets you or Haley, it could be bad. Please be careful.
Literally yesterday I found a vintage Endangered Red Wolf Webkinz at Goodwill and it sells from $30-80. Also found a Pillow Pet. I'm definitely gonna start looking at stuffed animals more lol. I love selling hats and I found a Country Music Television hat at Goodwill. The last one that sold was $155 which is crazy.
I have goats, both full sized and dwarf. You have plenty of space for a couple goats, but you'll need fencing and a shelter for them. I LOVE them they are such characters and they will definitely keep your undergrowth down. Something to consider. Let me know if you have any other questions, my family has had goats since the 1980's.
LOL! You were so nervous talking about the vintage slip! They sell!! I sell them all the time!! Have sold some for BIG MONEY!! Fun goin to the bins with you guys!! It's my favorite! The disk golf course looks great too!
I knew someone years ago who had a small property. Somewhat rural, but on the edge of a development. He let alfalfa grow on half his property and kept half a dozen goats on the other half. Occasionally he let the goats out to eat the alfalfa. He got a tax credit from the state of NJ for using his property as farmland. The neighborhood kids loved the goats. They'd come by with their family's stale bread and old produce and feed the goats over the fence. Neighbors would toss their old Halloween pumpkins and Christmas trees over the fence. The goats would strip the old trees of their needles. The goats would eat almost anything (except meat). There was an electric fence around the goat pen but a couple of them would tolerate the shock enough to squeeze under the wires and escape. This person would occasionally get a call from a neighbor that one of the goats had wandered down the street. They were cute, though, and friendly. The cost of feeding them was probably next to nothing, but there were vet bills, just as with any pet.
Love y'all's videos! In reference to throwing a pocketbook in the washer, could y'all do a video about how to clean stuff? I've been afraid of trying to clean leather because I was always told to not get leather wet.
I would not put a leather anything in the washer. A dealer friend sells a lot of bags...her stuff at flea market looks like new! She washes the lining & uses a leather cleaner & a leather conditioner on them. She also stuffs them with paper 2 bring back the shape.
@@ceceliaoliver7741 she has told me that some of the ones she finds look like they have been eaten out of! She just pulls it out the best she can & washes by hand. Not sure of the product she uses...maybe oxyclean....I've had good luck with that.
Josh a leather Dooney and Bourke bag sells new for over 200.00. If it's vintage even more. Have it dry cleaned, or buy a dry cleaning bag and you can do it yourself. Leather does not do well getting wet. You can also inform your buyer that the inside needs to be cleaned, and recommend they dry clean it.
Josh, I'm from South Africa and you left me behind! I saw the Africa cap and was hoping you'd buy that one too. No matter, I just love watching you guys!
Wow. Great shopping trip. I love all the things. Thumbs up for the Hello Kitty. Live the hats. Little trivia the first LP I purchased was a James Taylor album 1977. His big face on the cover. I picked it out because it was on a big display in the front of the music store in the mall where my mom took me shopping. So I knew it had to be a good one. Great record for a 12 year old. 🤭. So I love that hat you found. Stay safe!!!
Hey Josh.... didn't know that Columbus Ohio had a bins store . Looked it up ..... a friend and I went over the weekend ..... oh my goodness we are hooked ...... thank you ... God bless
I have goats, I've been raising goats for 11 years. They do not like clearing grass but woods like those are perfect for them! They will keep all the weeds, briars and leaves down. Easy maintenance, just monthly foot trims, daily hay and feed. You will need at least 2 goats, they are herd animals and would get lonely by themselves. But very easy to care for, very fun with a lot of personality and very loving
Goats are really neat animals and they would definitely keep the vegetation down on your disc golf course. You have to have a good fence for them. We used to have a bunch of them, but our fence was not good and they would get out all of the time and come up into the yard to play with our kids and jump on our cars. Goats are usually very loving animals, depending on the breed and how they are raised. The billy goats can get overprotective when the nanny goats get in heat. I have had them headbutt me during this time before, so we liked to make most of our billys into wethers. It all depends on whether or not you want more animals or not to take care of, but they will take care of the weeds and underbrush. Great video and I really enjoy watching you both dig through the bins. I wish we had some close where we live here.
Josh, what a great voice you have. I'm sure that you could easily use it to sell things on tv, etc. for different companies, or as a radio announcer. It could be an option to augment your thriving ebay business. Pretty sure this isn't the first time someone has suggested this idea, but it seems glaringly obvious your voice and pronounciation are both excellent.
When I started back in 2006 I sold vintage slips, bras, stockings, and underwear for a mint on eBay. If you get into that, you'll learn the brands. And then you want to hit up all of the convalescent homes and nursing homes when they have their biannual Clean out sales/yard sales. They end up with a lot of that stuff stored away and never claimed and usually clean it all out twice a year, for next to nothing. Also, The more elegant looking undergarments go for a good amount because the pinup girl style women like that. Some photographers like to keep it on hand for pinup style photoshoots as well.
Love the new property! We have a 120yd par 3 hole on our property and I’ve been considering goats for a few years to keep the brush under control. My neighbor has goats and has been trying to convince me! Ill be watching if you end up going that route!!
Josh, always enjoy the videos! Happy for you & Hayley (and Mose) with the new place! Lol at your reaction to the vtg women's slip! HA! Funny you mentioned it bc Ijust found lots of vtg mens sealed 70s under ware I'm about to list! Pro picker picked some up last week or I'd of not known!. Always learning! Blessings to you!
Hey guys 👋 Those vintage “undies,” they get searched for sometimes by wardrobe people for movies. I have sold several pieces of vintage clothing (including nightgowns) to people who are buying for movies set in different eras. Even dirty Converse sneakers! Sent them via overnight FedEx to the movie set!
Subscribed sometime ago and really enjoy everything that you put up on Y/T. Even though here in Australia where we live, we can never find the gems that you both find. Anyhow, again really love watching your videos. Very Best wishes to you all. 👍😁
Love how Josh got all squeaky and uncomfortable talking about that vintage slip/nightgown. LOL
I noticed that too! He didn’t know what to call it! I think slips are a thing of the past these days.
He was actually blushing!!!
I'm the same way to be honest. I don't even feel comfortable in the women's row of normal clothes 😂
Ya josh is a sweet boy lol
Good Job Haley!!! You can still get your man to Blush! 😉
So when I get a purse from the thrift store and it's dirty on the inside lining I use makeup remover cleaning wipes and it works great.

I absolutely love your new home and property! It will be fun watching the changes you guys make.
Josh, with those woods, and deer, please check Mose for ticks. If he gets bitten, he can get Lyme disease. If the tick gets you or Haley, it could be bad. Please be careful.
When ya'll go & don't find much you should make a short! I'd watch it! Love ya'll so much!
Great pickups - and your property looks awesome! congrats
Continue to be thrilled about your new property, which is perfect for you and Haley.
I need the Myrtle Beach Pullover.....
It's fun to watch you disc golf
Your house is beautiful and the yard is Awesome 😎 thanks for sharing 😊 Stay Safe 🙏
Love y'all's videos! In reference to throwing a pocketbook in the washer, could y'all do a video about how to clean stuff? I've been afraid of trying to clean leather because I was always told to not get leather wet.
Rachel Strickland had an AMAZING video on washing leather!
I would not put a leather anything in the washer. A dealer friend sells a lot of bags...her stuff at flea market looks like new! She washes the lining & uses a leather cleaner & a leather conditioner on them. She also stuffs them with paper 2 bring back the shape.
@@gibbysgirls Thank You! I'll go look for it.
@@keithbuchanan8588, do you know how she washes the lining? I've found several bags that look great, but the lining is beyond nasty.
This just reminded me of all your insane trick shots during COVID.
We have 2 goats, definitely a must for keeping brush cleared
Thanks for the tips & the entertainment! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
I raised and showed goats for 12 years, they are the best! They are like dogs! And they are funny, so that’s a plus! Lol
Josh, I'm from South Africa and you left me behind! I saw the Africa cap and was hoping you'd buy that one too. No matter, I just love watching you guys!
Great trip to the bins!! I think you guys did great!
Yes stayed until the end and enjoying the video 👍🏻
goats are realy cool. The calmest breed I have ever seen are Saanens if you're interested in chill goats
Great finds guys. Love your property, I think Moes does too!
Hey Josh.... didn't know that Columbus Ohio had a bins store . Looked it up ..... a friend and I went over the weekend ..... oh my goodness we are hooked ...... thank you ... God bless
Those Hello Kitty Build-a-Bears sell nicely. I sold a valentines one before pretty quickly and got about $30 as well. Nice finds.
As an employee at CFA, we pay about 9 dollars for those hats! People offer like 30-40 to buy them from us but we aren't allowed.
We love when y'all visit the bins !!!
You have inspired me to track my own thrift and picking adventure with my own channel! Keep up the good work!
I agree, I wash almost everything in the washing machine. I've washed tons of purses and have never ruined one.
Love the new property! We have a 120yd par 3 hole on our property and I’ve been considering goats for a few years to keep the brush under control. My neighbor has goats and has been trying to convince me! Ill be watching if you end up going that route!!
I raised goats for years. They are very sweet, my favorite are boer goats. Just like a big dog.
Things seem to be coming along nicely at the new house 🏠 ,so happy for you both.
It would be awesome to have a washer and dryer in your garage workspace…..with a cool photography studio
Hope you have a wonderful New Year
Hey guys 👋 Those vintage “undies,” they get searched for sometimes by wardrobe people for movies. I have sold several pieces of vintage clothing (including nightgowns) to people who are buying for movies set in different eras. Even dirty Converse sneakers! Sent them via overnight FedEx to the movie set!
Around here in Southern Wisconsin you can rent goats to eat unwanted plants. So that might be an option where you live.
Subscribed sometime ago and really enjoy everything that you put up on Y/T. Even though here in Australia where we live, we can never find the gems that you both find. Anyhow, again really love watching your videos. Very Best wishes to you all. 👍😁
