They had some hopping dance clubs on Juarez Avenue. Sarawalks is the only one still there. Used to go to Cosmos & Freddie's bar. So much fun & plenty of tequila.
The canal with the water is not the Rio Grande. The almost empty one is the Rio. The one with the water is the Franklin canal and is an irrigation canal.
I visited Kentucky club 3 decades ago and that place was always happening but of course I always went with a group. Never go alone there or venture in further unless u know someone.
Great video! Kentucky Club is the best. So many memories of this bar.
Thanks, really enjoyed my time there and plan to return again.
' Was stationed at Fort Bliss and had a blast there in the 80's.

Reminds me of a place called ''CURLYS'' 1980...........MIRRORS AND TROUGH PISSERS!
i had one gringo ancestor from Kentucky who settled in El Paso i wonder if he opened that bar.
watched a YuoTuber who just moved to El Paso but said she will not go to Mexico , i told her that is like living in France and not going to Paris.
@@vivavasquez I know Juarez gets a bad rep, but I had a great time. Will def go back!
Does viva La Mexico mean “I love Mexico”?
It means “Long live Mexico” but yes it basically means I Love Mexico or you could say Amo Mexico or Me Encanta Mexico!
