@@mathewmaldonado9135 no the food is good it’s just a matter of taste. Hard to explain you gotta try it. But wash it down with a great margarita and you can’t lose. Thx for watching I really appreciate it.
The food is more like old school Americanized Mexican food. If you notice their sign says it's Spanish food. That is not correct in today's vernacular. If you say a restaurant has Spanish food, you expect food from Spain.
So don't expect good authentic Mexican food, and definitely don't expect actual food from Spain.
Their Margarita drinks are the best though. I recommend eating some appetizers and focus on the Margaritas. 😄
They use black beans for one. Most Mexican restaurants don’t do the black beans, the rice is white I guess wanna be cilantro lime but no flavor. The menu is very limited and for what you get they’re too expensive. There I said it.
I did enjoy the filet mignon soft tacos but shoot I can make my own with the rice and homemade at home for a party of 4-5 for what they charge. ✌️
@@auntipenelope cool thanks for the info 👌

El Cholo? Might as well go to El Torito

@@jonkotick5233 😂 sorry man! I appreciate you watching!
Been there many times not my favorite Mexican restaurant the booths are very uncomfortable
Claros is great but the rest of the places visited are garbage. You can do way better. I live here so I speak from experience. Look up a picture of the mayor to see how healthy the food is here lol
Whittier sucks
El Cholo is El Crapo! No one that knows real Mexican food. Will not eat there.
I can never figure out why people get so hung up on where they live what the hell did Whittier do for you to make you so proud to walk around saying my whittier. All any does every day of school or citizens and you're all proud to walk around talking about Whittier. 😂😂😂😂😂
