I moved out of Las Vegas to Prosper TX 18 months ago. I grew up in Vegas and I can tell you Vegas is not what it used to be. My family and I are much happier here in Texas. There is so much more to do here than in Vegas. Lake mead sucks since the water levels have dropped. Vegas is a good place to go for entertainment, not a place to raise a family.
Dallas isn’t either.. 🤣🤣🤣 if you’re not making over 100k you’re going to struggle in Dallas.. and that’s a facts.. you still new yo Dallas.. over time you’ll see..
Were looking to move out of Vegas. I think for singles or a married couple with no kids, its a great place and there is plenty to do. Now we have 2 children and we want them to grow up in a place that focuses on families. Vegas tries to implement family events but there is still a lack. Maybe in 10-15 years itll get there but for now we have no interest in staying here.
I can tell you this. From someone who lives in Dallas. But I was raise in Las Vegas…. But dallas is a good city… I love it here in Dallas… but dallas is way more expensive then Las Vegas… it’s expensive and it’s getting more expensive by the month.. and dallAs isn’t slowing down no time soon…
This is not accurate at all Dallas is Expensive, they say 300k but show a million dollar home What they don't mention is that the outside is nice with trees but nobody is outside because it is so hot and muggy... There's nice housing but no view whatsoever.. all flat.. flat and flat.. lakes are dirty around.. just look at comments and filled with alligators This should be honest... Real Estate guys just saying positive And don't forget around Texas always random power outages, and now flooding, snow.. and tornadoes.. So property taxes high.. always have to look out for some emergency.. really annoying.. Moved out here and really property taxes are higher than anywhere, and healthcare is horribly high here in Dallas If you want to live anywhere decent then it's cheaper but then you have to worry about tornadoes or flooding.. Just because something is quote/unquote bigger doesn't mean it's better, just look at Alaska just a lot of nothing (not to say anything bad about Alaska) It's hot and sticky muggy, and a lot of mosquitoes; You can't go outside from end of may till about September hot and sticky...sticky.. And when you go from spring/fall weather is unpredictable and that's when you worry about flooding or tornadoes.. constant worrying if you are going to get hit or get to non flooding areas.. Infrastructure for traffic is also horrible; There isn't traffic here, just the way engineers design traffic lights wasn't design for influx of people. I sit in lights for 2 minutes at a time, not good :( Other than that, Dallas is good, I live in Frisco Area where everyone wants to live and it's expensive to get a house here.. 600k and up realistically
basically north arizona, all the californians that sold their house for megabucks to some fool, bought cheap so now you get to pay megabucks if you want las vegas, and we haven't discussed the foreign investment, blackrock, etc.
Ppl get obese in Vegas, 50th state in education, drier wrinkled skin, dusty, tons of DEAD palm trees, sex trafficking at sunset even at some hotel, thinner & lesser building materials in new homes, beggars, apartments in every turn, churches almost empty, etc. Now let's talk about the negatives of southern part of NV

same with seattle, though at sea level, but like a post apocalypse between the homeless, graffiti, crime and traffic...

Grew up in LA and lived in Vegas for two years. Drive from Vegas to the beach is four hours with No traffic and 6-8 hours with traffic

@@DashBorad_PDallas is way cheaper than Vegas I’ve moved from Vegas lived there 4. Different times !
I Loved Vegas as a young person but I am drawn to Dallas area to raise a family
I moved out of Vegas to the DFW area. It's the best thing I could have done for my Family. I would suggest looking at Frisco or Prosper.
Negative. If you’re going to move out here to Dallas.. there’s other cities to move to beside that…

😂😂😂😂😂
DFW’s freedom-factor and nice people are great. It’s becoming California due to the CA mass exodus.
