  • This is the continuation of the lure that we designed the last time, it will show a different way of placing a through wire in a lure and will show how you can get a bit fancy with the finish by using translucent gift wrap.
    The lure
    7 inch long
    3.5 oz
    made for surf fishing

    Nicely done! I like the idea of cutting the holes and the slot while your blank is still square. I try to do as much as possible while it is still square. i have been looking for a thinner saw blade for table saw for doing this

    I know your a pro lure builder. Awesome channel. You probably already know this but for the others watching when you cut something on a bandsaw adjust the blade where it is as close to the project as possible for less blade flex, safety and to improve blade life. Thumbs up as always 👍👍

      I tend to use poplar a lot but depending on your abilities you might want to suggest with bass wood for ease of carving.
