we get fish like that all the time here.....10 to 15 lbs....from lake ontario...they are so awesome...we are very lucky to have them here because they dont even belong here...i just caught and released a 16lber...yesterday....your videos are perfect
It's a pretty average fish in bc aswell it's just in great condition for a buck at that time of year.

Those were a couple of beautiful bucks! I was thinking about heading up there but they just announced the Skagit will be open thru April so maybe in the fall. It has been 10 years since we have had a spring season. Protect your wonderful fisheries, it can happen in the blink of an eye.

for the rod not coming apart, i always carry a roll of hockey tape with me. tape it around for grip and always twist before i pull. but it has to be renfrew hockey tape

Say you should do a collaboration video with April Vokey! Get her on your show lol! She's bad ass and I think its really cool what she does but anyways it would be better then fishing with all those ugly guys you usually fish with haha! Jk. But seriously lol. Keep it up man! Hoping to one day do what you do! Fishing is my life I own my own business and its getting really old! Lucky I do get to fish a lot but I'd rather do it everyday! Tight line man!

Always have rubber gloves in case the rod gets stuck. It’s always the bottom joint for me, means you are hucking lasers it locks the rod she gets so loaded eh.
Stick it in the cold water for a few, should loosen up.
I know a guy who is steelhead fishing in Ohio right now and the area has a high tempature of -2. That guy is going to lose his nose to frostbite!
-2 was the high. The low was -30 and the wind chill was -51. That’s pretty cold to me anyway.
