I commend you the smaller the boat the more important the bulge pump for most people it is an afterthought. A fuse or circuit breaker inline nearest the power source is crucial. A short circuit in this circuit with such a large battery could easily cause the wire to go to white hot and ignite the foam in the seat.
Thanks for watching and for the compliment! Unfortunately James I don’t own that little boat anymore but I did do a water test on it. Didn’t get it on video but it worked like a charm.
@@stevepham854 not only you could use a fuse if you value you and your passengers safety you MUST. You can easily weld 1/8” steel with only the energy contained in a group 27 lead acid battery. You are on a very small island surrounded by water maybe at night. If you develop a short from the + wire contacting any ground or develop an internal short inside the bulge pump and the wire melts and the insulation burst into flames it’s whole length. Did I mention that you are sharing this island with a gallon of gas. Would you want to fly in a small airplane knowing the owner installed his own accessories and wired them himself by running them direct to the battery. Works good until it doesn’t. Wouldn’t it be nice if a fuse broke the circuit before any of the above happened? Have you noticed all boats, automobiles, heavy machinery, buildings are built with circuit breakers in the circuits. It cost money to add cb and if they could be eliminated and maintain safety they would have been. If you wouldn’t be comfortable stripping wire and holding the ends on your battery you need a fuse or cb. Hint: don’t do this!
Mark Buie sorry bud I just saw this question! I used IntroMate. It’s a free app then got my sound effects off of UA-cam for free and edited it all together in my editing software.

Looks great gonna do this on my 1448 alumacraft
Ryan thanks my friend. Good luck with your alumacraft. Those are good boats.
Every hard 90 added reduces flow about 50% I would try to utilize smooth radius bends in hose to a straight out through hull high on the side.
You need a fuse block on your boat.
Good video, adding one to my flat bottom soon, can you do a water test video with it?

should i need the fuse for that project sir. i am new. thanks sir
Steve Pham thanks for watching! You could absolutely do an in-line fuse but I just didn’t. A 10 amp should be fine. Good luck with your project!
Bassin' 911 thank sir

What app do you use to make your Bassin 911 logo at the beginning and end of your videos??
