You ever try one of those hammer plier multi tools? The pliers are unusable cause the hammer head is in the way. The hammer head also adds bulk making it uncomfortable but the hammer is small enough that it is useless as a hammer
Geneva conventions don't ban weapons and the jgdkommando, or "tri blade" knife, isn't banned. It's a poorly designed knife that does not cut or stab well. Doctors are more then capable of closing a wound from that knife.

As an ex police officer, I like that watch. I wish they had something like that back in my day. We carried heavy rechargeable Mag-lite flashlights that used krypton bulbs. They were about the length of 4 D cell batteries and about as heavy. No where near the brightness of these LEDS that are much smaller. I am not a fan of LEDS but they definitely have their uses in flashlights, glow sticks, and bicycle lighting. As for warning lights on emergency vehicles, or for home lamps and light sockets, they're not so good. They flicker and the ambient light output is low and difficult to see with. Also, on Emergency vehicles, sealed beams that rotate look much cooler than blinding flashes of light. Especially in fog, rain, and snow. You can see the beams and it's pretty wicked looking.

The blood channels are also added to have less suction, with things like bayonets there was a problem when stabbing an Enemy the blood will form a strong suctioning force keeping the blade there, but if those channels are there the blood pours making it easier to stab faster with more power
I have a LOW Tech solution to campfires that's been safely proven many times. It's easy, just slowly pour some Naptha gas ( the same kind your Coleman stove uses ) on your firewood. Let it sit and soak for a minute, then stand about 6 - 7 feet back and throw a lit stick match on the wood. There will be an initial " Whump " as the gas catches fire, and there you pretty much have it, an INSTANT roaring campfire. I've done this a thousand times and it's never failed yet, as long as your wood is dry, you'll never have to work hard or fuss with kindling and shavings to get a nice big crackling instant blaze going. You can do it the hard way, or the easy way.
For those that thinking that a compass means you'll never get lost, well, I knew a guy that had a fancy whizbang device provided to him by the Army; accurate to about 1/177th of a degree, and knew his position on the earth down to about the size of a quarter, and yes, he still managed to get lost. How might you ask ? A compass, or even an exact location of your position on the entire earth does you no good unless you have a map to use it with. Got lost with a half million dollars worth of equipment all because he forgot his maps (in another state ).

so you know why the spiral knife has fluting and cross drilled holes in it really right? it's not for weight reduction I'll tell you that. Think about puncturing something that is full of say 75% fluid, and the faster you drain out that fluid the quicker the umm job's done. the fluting and holes help to accelerate that at any angle as well as pretty much eviscerate the uh things you are jamming the knife into.
Having the holes places horizontal does not help with the releasing blood, or suction. Also, the spiral design of the knife make limit the depth your able to puncture. The spiral, twisting motion would break your grip. Puncture wounds from triangular blades take more suturing on the skin but are no different from any other puncture. Certainly not worse then a pistol bullet, which most survive.
So... the triple blade, spiral "knife" is cool and all, but do you actually know why it's designed like that? Specifically, if you stab a person with it, it does 2 things: for one it does a lot of damage, more damage than a normal knife does in the same action... for two it's extremely difficult to stitch up. Most of the time you get stabbed in the gut by one of these things, you will bleed out before anyone can get to you and if someone does anyone would be hard pressed to actually save you. Get shanked multiple times by it and there goes any chance you had. This spiral "knife" goes by many names, but one of the most common is "tri-dagger." Mostly kept as a novelty, because it doesn't have much "practical" use. Because of its specific design and function, people have been trying to get it banned (though I don't think there is anything official).
