    I own a 9x9 arctic fox and it is simply amazing. Went camping with 2 of my friends (all of us 6ft + tall) and we managed to fit comfortably at the expense of leaving some kit outside the tent. Used it in temperatures as low as -38C with the kni-co wood stove. Alot of wood was required to maintain a comfortable temperature in the tent but that is was a boreal forest issue. I would recommend this product to anyone who is either used to winter camping or looking to start winter camping. Thanks to Canadian Outdoor equipment ! I always had great service and i will definitely continue to bring my business there.

      What was it like burning wood like how often would you have to get up in the night to keep the stove going? Is there adjustable dampers you can use to slow the draw of air to the stove ? Or is it just on bust 24/7

    I'm starting to grow quite fond of Tim. I've only purchased one thing from The COEC, but dealing with Tim was a pleasure.

    How would the Esker tents do in the rain? Is the fabric waterproof? I'm thinking late fall or early spring weather where it could rain or snow.

      Depends how much it rains. Canvas will swell to shed water, but can only shed so much - it is possible to overload it's ability to do so in a downpour - fabric is not waterproof. Use of a secondary tarp is necessary in very wet conditions.

    Can it be turned to a sauna with a proper stove installed?

    What do you do to a new canvas tent to keep it from leaking?

    • @TheCOEC
      @TheCOEC  2 роки тому +2

      Put a secondary tarp over it. Canvas tents are water resistant, not waterproof - if it rains hard enough, the canvas' ability to shed water will be overloaded.

    Esker tents are an exact copy from Atuk Tents! If you ever have the chance of speaking with Guy from Atuk, he'll tell you the story. Guy has been making these tents for well over 20 years FYI.

    Where is the link to your website? Seriously? I’ll follow the series but come on man, add a link ffs.

      They have a link to their website at the 20th second. The channel is also called "The CEOC" aka "The Canadian Outdoor Equipment Company". So to put it in your words, "ffs man" can't you watch the first few seconds of the video or do a quick Google search, or are you used to being spoon-fed? Don't be rude, be more aware.
