Marylebone station is a Central London railway terminus and connected London Underground station in the Marylebone area of the City of Westminster. From conversations I've had in person and online, both TPE and Chiltern could be dispensing with class 68s in the not too distant future. The TPE case not being helped by faults with the Mk5 stock.
I'd love to see some of these Class 68 / DVT's, but on Realtime Trains they don't show up, and I want to prep before heading to Marylebone. Does anyone know if they are the ones classed as 'Pathed as Class 158/168/170/175 DMU'? Thanks!
Pls, could you record some trains at Caerphilly, Aber and Energlyn & Churchill Park (Tones l plus lots of 231s) all in my home town of Caerphilly South Wales
London Marylebone station will not change much as it has remains of Network Southeast and Chiltern Railways wouldn’t change much as it’s still called Chiltern Railways. And Chiltern Railways do have the best rolling stocks on their network.

You braved the nasty weather for this! I still don't understand why Chiltern Railways is still obsessed with small trains. All the way to Birmingham on just 3 coaches is horrendously awful
Love the 68s, its not very often that new loco designs are commended (think of the 70s) but the 68s are incredible, always enjoy filming them. Hopefully all new locos have this level of grunt.
Yep. Rush Hour, and Chiltern STILL only run 2- or 3- Car trains between Aylesbury and Marylebone via Amersham, which gets ridiculously busy and standing room only! You literally have to guess which platform the train will leave from before it's put on the Board, and stand next to the unit, just to get a seat! Complete sh*thousery!!

They certainly do rumble! I love the ‘Cats’ nickname. The headlights look like cat eyes and the engines are made by Caterpillar - Perfect!
