As an F80 Comp owner, my reasons are I prefer analog gauge cluster with actual buttons for everything, the comp seats look classier to me than the flashy g80 seats, the overall body design is timeless in my opinion, and the driving feels a more raw than the G80. Most importantly the current price of the F80 is a significantly better value than G80.
Nice video man😄 I have a G82 comp which I’m very satisfied with. I’ve driven a 2 F82’s and 1 F83 and they’re lovely, but I personally preferred the G82’s experience. All in all I’m 18, so maybe I’m missing some points which you’ll receive from further driving experience, but as I see it now it’s really down to personal taste☺️ Keep it up, u gained a new sub🫡
That’s awesome man! Yeah it may be just from the cars I kinda “grew up” driving. They felt a bit more raw. Don’t get me wrong, the G82 is awesome just compared to the F8X chassis it’s a bit less engaging. Also thanks for the sub!
@@Freeway_Media fair points man, when I was given the car, I found it too quiet, so it’s fitted with a Remus Race exhaust which sorted the problems out. Perhaps the sound gives off the illusion of more rawness, but I’d definitely have to give an S55 another shot with an aftermarket setup. Also is yours X drive or RWD?
Not trying to downplay your G80 btw they are insane cars! Honestly if I didn’t have the dark horse probably would’ve went with that. Mine is just RWD, they didn’t offer xdrive in the F8X M3/4
What do you consider when you are saying “better” I think it depends what you want out of the car. The G82 is great, fast, and a very comfortable daily. The F8X is just a much better “drivers car” in my opinion
I hear ya i have a m4 f82 myself this was my first auto sports car too, this car is good stock dont need more power its a good built car you just hop in and go

I have had my F82 for four years and love it. I am very tempted to buy a G82.
That’s awesome! Wait for the G82 to come down a little in price, in my honest opinion it’s not worth what they are selling for.
i had a f82 and now have a g82 and i can guarantee that the g82 is way better. f82 amazing for the price tho but definitely not better
