It wasn't *just* funny that Matt went to Africa trying to get answers, funny that Liberals can't insult the tribe for fear of being racist, but it's genuinely refreshing and even delightful to see a people so removed from all our American craziness be asked to comment on these things. I'm Kenyan. Maasais are not "primitive". They have mobile phones and modern day stuff but even so, the average modern Kenyan does not subscribe to this madness from America. I keep wondering how did this gender binary stuff even become a mainstream topic of discussion? How did Americans get here?

Respect from America. Not all of us believe in the transgender madness. In fact most of us don't. We have a very vocal bunch of purposeless weirdos in big cities that give the appearance they are more widespread than they actually are.

Maasais aren't as primitive as most would let you believe. Back in their heyday they were the Vikings of their time in that part of the continent, totally badass, no one messed with them, and everyone avoided their territories. They are the only reason why Kenya and the north western part of tanzania were never used as slave routes
Vikings aren't a good comparison. Vikings raped people and pillaged places on a common basis as part of their lifestyle. They shouldn't be called 'badass.'
Not yet. Sadly human being are easy to bend and manipulate. The fact they talked to a tribe about this just exposed them to it which very well could have done more harm than good. They should have left them alone.
Am sorry. Am sure Kenya is safer than USA. We did encounter some terrorist attacks some time back. Currently we just face the usual problems like any other country. Also the masaai community are very brave. You'll be in good hands. The whole gender topic is a whole topic we can't get into here. Aside from western exposure, I'd say as a kenyan we stick to facts. Traditions play a huge role in our lives. We have over 40 tribes with distinct beliefs and that's Kenya alone. Imagine the whole continent of Africa.
@@ianm8218 not necessarily. But yeah it has to do with the gun law. There is alot of gang violence in USA. Not saying only them but in comparison to Kenya. Also in Kenya we gave the mob justice "system ". Not ethical but it gets things done. Like we had a run away child murderer; he confessed he killed and ate his victims. He fled home and got killed by his neighbours once recognised. They weren't punished rather congratulated.
The nerve of Americans to question if Kenya is safe while they just had a mass shooting that killed 20 children is laughable. They have mass shootings every week.
Here in Eastern Europe we all laugh at this American gender theory and crack jokes at it. Just a few years ago my family kept calling my uncle's rucksack that he bought "the gender sack" because of how silly it looked. 😂
I wouldn't laugh at all if i were you. Soon ,very soon it will happen to your eastern europe country since the whole europe is going toward this direction. It might not effect your mind but it will brainwash the younger generations .

Matt you are one smart man. I enjoyed watching the video of the Maasai Tribe. In the last 2 years America has gone down hill. I am not interested in anyone sexuality. Please they must keep it to themselves. I see people for who they are good or bad. I was born a girl and eventually a lady. I carried a baby for 9 months and a man can never do that. Keep up the Excellent work Matt.
This is an excellent test of concept. It also reminds me of being in Cameroon and trying to explain what obesity, anorexia and solitude were to a polite but slightly disbelieving group of people. We are way less advanced than we think we are. How advanced are we, if we’ve been traveling away from the truth for decades, even centuries?
It's extraordinarily difficult, probably impossible for a people who are free and prosperous to remain anchored to the truth, the God we dedicated America to in our foundation. It takes a people of incredible fortitude to resist taking advantage of that freedom to perpetuate evil for self gain, and even more so for the general populace to stand against and thwart every attempt to do so. It's just human nature, very sad. It was only by the grace of God that this didn't happen even sooner, and that grace was due to a people who stood strong for him for about 180 years. Then in the 60s, starting with the ban on prayer in school, our comfort and complacency got the best of us, and we've been on a path to destruction ever since. I just thank God for the time, the grace he's given us to repent, but it's going to take a tremendous miracle for that to happen at this point.
Didn’t think I’ll see my country mentioned in the comments lol. I’m Cameroonian and I started watching Matt Walsh’s videos here after I randomly saw a clip of his Dr Who debate on Twitter. After asking some acquaintances about 2 spirit they told me it’s a made up European term for their tribe’s equivalent to homosexuals, but the Europeans use it as an argument for historical transgenderism when that’s not what it was at all.
I’ve been interested in anthropology for years and am still totally baffled by any claims of historical transgenderism (what an awful word that is). This modern, arrogant stupidity is just ignorant and insulting.
If you want to understand the modern Left you have to read Rousseau. Everything they're doing is Rousseau. The rejection of science (postmodernism, lived experience), the noble savage possessing intuitive wisdom (voices of marginalized groups and people of colour), childish intuition over adult reason (Greta Thunberg, woketivists in their teens). Then they can project their various lunacies onto primitive peoples (their view, not mine) that they know nothing about and aren't really interested in and tell themselves that those peoples' holding those views somehow legitimizes them.
As an African, I would like to say we don't have a "gender spectrum". In my country, we are asked whether we are male or female. Plus, we don't believe that a man can turn into a woman. 😅

@Boohoo QQlefty What's gross and unfortunate to think about though is how if it were still Rhodesia, it would likely have this kind of crap there right now too.
I think if someone said that he's gender fluid, then they'd take him to a mental house or sum coz gender isn't fluid, it's the sex you were born as, a man or a woman
I think the funniest thing about the term “2 spirit” is that it wasn’t even a gender to begin with it was and I quote "specifically chosen to distinguish and distance Native American/First Nations people from non-Native peoples.” So the alphabet mafia turned it into a term associated with gender

Gender in the sense of gender roles/behavior is a social construct. Biological sex is not. A dog is going to be able to tell a biologically male cross-dresser or drag queen is male. The dresses, the wigs, the cosmetics, will not matter to the dog. I have wondered if dogs would be confused by transgender people on hormones. We already KNOW real life isn't a LARP; people can't simply "perform femininity" and *BE* a woman, or "perform masculinity" and *BE* a man. Dear Math Walch, as much as I love you and what you do, I believe it is important to put things in the proper context. As people from different Countries and Nations on the African Continent, it is demeaning and disrespectful to us when 54+ countries on the African Continent are lumped together as if they are just a single entity. African countries and their different tribes are the definition of diversity. Kindly specify the name of the country a people group or tribe you're speaking about is located... e.g. the Massai tribe in Kenya (... and not put as the Massai tribe in Africa). We don't love the 'lumping together' and generalisation of western media about the beautiful people groups in different countries on the African Continent. Thanks.
I recently returned from Bulgaria, where I visited a few medical clinics. The places I went to had large price lists on the walls, similar in size to your average poster. They listed the price charged for certain procedures, and they always listed in order children first, adults second, and pregnant women third. All in Romanian of course. After seeing several signs at different clinics( I had some medical issues that needed attention), I mustered up the best Bulgarian I could and asked the staff at one clinic why there was never a price for any procedures for pregnant men. Do they not provide medical assistance to pregnant men? I kid you not when I say that they were not only completely dumbfounded, but because I’d feigned a very serious tone when asking my questions, they looked at me as though I had two heads or something. This place knew me as a serious person because I was on my third or fourth visit by that time, then all of a sudden I hit them with this “pregnant man” crap. So after the initial shock wore off, we discussed why I’d brought that up and they all said it was the most ridiculous garbage they had ever heard of! The more I explained what’s happening to Western culture with all the woke shiite, the more their jaws would drop. By now most of the staff was paying attention, and some had heard snippets of wokeness, but they thought it was parody, something out of The Simpsons or the like. In their wildest dreams they would never have believed what I was telling them if they hadn’t got to know me a bit and realised I was serious. There’s a huge lesson in this, and if there aren’t some major change and adjustments made soon, we’re in for some very, very dark times!

Perhaps they mean primitive in a sense that they have not been influenced by outside ideologies.
The Koisan are/were also nomadic like the Masaai. Nomadic tribes were less likely to become enslaved.

I'm so sorry that your people had to go through this. The Americans will never stop will they?

Many, many of us do not! We see the destructive nature this "lifestyle" causes & do not support it.

I know more people who do not support the LGBTQ Agenda than those who do. It really is a warped ideology.

I have lived in Kenya for 28 years. Maasai people are clever. They have mordern devices. Can use a phone. Can transact business. They just stuck to their traditional way of life. And they are very brave.
Not a fan of how you guys were speaking lowly about those tribes in Africa. They live like that by choice, they want nothing to do with the modern world and that should be respected. I agree with your points, I just don't like how you talk about the Maasai people like they are aliens or something.
Exactly they are ignorant and exploiting those people. Africa is sooo rich and has a lot of resources- idk why they make them sound like they’re living in dirt. They have it all figured out. They eat well, they live well, and they are happy.
Matt, you should have taken one of the loud gender activists with you so they could explain it to the tribe. Would have been interesting to see them advocate their cause to people that have no clue what they are talking about.
They would mistake the activist for a demon and kill it, wouldn't blame them Tbh.

Funnily enough, did you know one of the reasons God is referred to as a "he" in the Qur'an is because Arabic doesn't have a gender-neutral term? The concept doesn't even exist in the language.
Mashallah
okay
In Islam even tho God is referred to as HE, God is still known as not having a gender.
@@Julie-qr9ow This is true. We refer to him as a "he" because we have no non-binary way of referring to him. We do understand, however, that God is neither man nor woman as he is not begotten, nor has he begot. Which implicitly tells us that he isn't male or female.
I heard once that the original default pronoun in the English language is "he" if the gender is unknown, even if the person they referring to is actually a woman, once the gender is known the appropriate pronoun will be used
Don't be a joker the spears and “weapons” are a cultural thing. They had nothing to do with attacking you for your ideology...Maasai and they are allowed by the law, to carry a machette , Rungu or fimbo ( a wooden throwing club or baton)

English is one of the rare languages that don’t have “gendered” verbs. For example where I live, even though there is a pronoun “it”, not even asexuals and non binary use it because it sounds weird
Yeah I thought about this, like isn’t the entirety of the french language transphobic? 😂
"It" is weird and dehumanizing. We even call animals he and she depending on the descriptor word. Cat? She. Dog? He. Hamster? He. Then you specify when the name is known bc that further describes the gender. "It" is only used for abstract concepts in my language
I actually knew someone that used "it" pronouns and honestly it...really...confuses me a lot more besides feeling strange as a non-native speaker. We just learnt that it's for animals or objects.
@@Azoria4 since there's no actual real concept of "transphobic"- no. It's just a term you pulled out of your az to gaslight others.
That’s why it’s so confusing to use and understand neopronouns because how the heck is that supposed to work in my language. We had to make up a whole new word in french for non-binary people.
I honestly thought the same thing, “why Africa?” I get it. Real Science.

@@King_Jerry so here in America if you start speaking out against this garbage there are a lot of extreme political activists that will harass you and harass your employer until they fire you. That’s part of the reason I support people like Matt Walsh with my wallet
I'm American but everyone I know who lives close to the land (like the Maasai people do) is baffled by people who can't answer such a basic question as _"What is a woman?"_
When people live in the real world more frequently than we live online, we intrinsically KNOW we can't simply "delete" a drought, or "block-chain" unfriendly neighbors, or design a whole different avatar for ourselves to inhabit.
We already KNOW real life isn't a LARP; people can't simply "perform femininity" and *BE* a woman, or "perform masculinity" and *BE* a man. Unlike in "Life is Beautiful" (1997), the results are almost always disastrous whenever parents try to shelter their children from reality by denying the existence of reality.
I wish everyone would have to spend some time living self-sufficiently. This was a normal rite-of-passage for teenagers among my ancestors: At puberty, a boy or girl would spend a period of time away from their family and tribe, living off the land on their own. Usually they survived; and surviving self-sufficiently is an awesome way to learn about reality.
