Floor 12-3 is such a bullsh*t man... Those vishap not only they are tanky and have huge hp but stagger a lot...And even if you kill the vishap then surprise surprise , those flying fungi thingies shows up.. If you don't have a freeze team , then killing those vishaps is really a Pain..
Even with a Morgana like setup with Ayaka replacing Ganyu, i had quite some trouble. Over the span of many tries and many hours I finally got a good rotation down. If I had watched a video on Morgana or a freeze team in general, I could’ve saved myself lots of time. Though it’s fun to struggle and then finally get the 36*. I used Ganyu, Benny, XL and Zhongli on second half btw.
@@619jasso it's a lot easier if you use someone like Kazuha instead of Venti for the Morgana variation since Venti can sometimes shoot his burst into the middle of nowhere lol
I was doing it with national and i FAILED like with the best comp in the game but then i swapped to a taser team and it actually worked i cleared it easily. 10/10 reccomend :)

this is actually the first abyss i ever finished, even though I only got 30 stars because of that last floor the chicken doesn’t even take that long but the vishaps in the half before it… they give me nightmares
honestly for the vishaps its all up to rng whether or not they group and you get a fast clear. my runs with the same teams had like 30 second differences from each other lmao
I actually really liked this abyss I had a fun time with my build despite not even using the new dendro units I was able to get through the entire floor with ease. I spent like more than a year perfecting and really get my team really up there. And it really goes to show if you invest ur time with the characters it doesn't matter what the abyss type it is you will dominate!

I used Ayaka freeze in the first half and Yoimiya Yelan combo in the second half to clear this abyss. Although the last chamber needed some extra effort that is I needed to level up Yoimiya's, Shenhe's and Yunjin's talents.
I used Ganyu freeze in the first half and Raiden national in the second half . I 36 stared in my second try I could do it in my first try but my Ganyu dies to bubbles so I had to retry .
I don't think Genshin is as easy as it's made out to be. Sure, most of the overworld and story content is easy to walk through, but the later stages of the Abyss can get really challenging. Here we have a professional Genshin player, who plays the game for a living. He has every single character at his disposal, with signature weapons for the most part, and high constellations - and even he isn't cake walking the Abyss.
I don't think moga is a "professional" in terms of skill, but no offense, he just plays the game for fun. A lot of people could beat the abyss pretty easily even without having all charas/weaps. As long as you wanna learn how to play better
Chamber 12-3 has definitely been the hardest for me so far... it took 89 battles to get 36* second half was fairly easy with a double geo Hu Tao team, but the vishaps in the first half gave me a *lot* of trouble with their energy drain and massive HP (iirc, the current 12-3 equals to 3.5 lvl 90 Raidens in terms of HP?)
Those bubbles man... 164 attempts from me just due to the sheer number of restarts. My game loads slow so I already lose around 12-15 seconds of attack time to loading in enemies, so one bubble and it's restart
I was able to get 1st half in 1.30 with kazuha xiao xiangling bennet, but my 2nd half was impossible with hutao xinqiu diona thoma team so i could only get 2 stars. i just built shimenawa hutao though so i might try again

That’s what I did still only got 2 stars in chamber 3 of floor 12 which I got 35 stars in total which is great don’t get me wrong but the second part of the first half is the worst
i have been trying since day 1 of this abyss to clear fl12-3. i have 33 stars right now but i can never been those small bath things on time and then i rage quit. i was so close to 3*ing it but the mf jadeplume thing smashed my zhongli shield and my yoimiya died at the last second so from that day, i have not tried it

I still use my usual teams from last abyss with this new floor 12, the full geo and raiden national team, they still give me all 9 stars (with a side of "minimal" suffering)
This was the first time I cleared floor 12 with all stars. Mono Geo team1. Yae, Raiden, Kazuha, Bennett team2. It took me a hour of constantly restarting BUT I DID IT! UP YOURS TELEPORT SPAMMING MIRROR MAIDEN
I actually had a much easier time this round of abyss as apposed to the last few patches. I'd been mostly relying on Freeze Ganyu for months and it wasn't cutting it. This time I went in with a Spread team and double hydro taser team and had a fairly good time. I feel like this abyss is set up for dendro reactions all the way. Trick with the Chicken boss is electro, it enrages it but then it passes out and gives you a good dps window. I've tried both Ganyu and Tighnari against the electro regisvine and I think Tighnari is just a bit faster at breaking the core but you have to be comfortable using charged shot archers (I'm a ganyu main so that's my bread and butter) and in my experience most of the player base avoids that play style.
The most annoying part in this abyss is when you are staggered by the enemies and you are lock in that annoying animation and you can't switch character which is very annoying!!!
i used oonga boonga team on first team and proper oonga boonga on the 2nd team for floor 12 and it went smoothly. My first team is Raiden, Kazuha, Venti and Mona. 2nd team Zhongli, Yanfei, Xingqiu and Bennett(c6 for more power)

I play with 700 ping because my university wifi doesn't allow genshin and cell reception isn't good inside the uni. I have to use a free vpn which drastically increases the ping. Because of that I had to settle for 35*. It's so frustrating when you are about to win but can't because you can't change to the correct character due to the high ping.
Abyss is so easy off you just build a rational and ayaka freeze team. Like literally two five stars that's it (Raiden, Ayaka) though kazuha is very nice to have for ayaka (but given the bosses you're fine with sucrose)
This was actually my first 36 stars. And it was quite hard with lag and skill issue in my phone. I use freeze ayaka team(I want to use melt but the chamber 3 the 3 enemies are tanky and move frequently) and second half fischl, yae, DMC, jean.
The way you deal with the small vishaps is to just focus on the big vishap. Try to push him to the wall to minimize stagger distance The small ones will aggro to you, so if you have good AOE they will automatically get caught in the crossfire. What you DON'T want is to get stuck attacking the small ones, because then you'll end up fighting "fair" with the big one rather than AOE doubling/tripling your damage vs. overall chamber HP.
this new abyss was so hard for no reason. floor 12 was a BITCH to 9* ultimately i did get 36* but probably spent around 30 minutes retrying chamber 2 and 3 to get the final stars. usually abyss takes me 30 mins in total but it took over an hour this time. not looking forward to the reset😭
It seems like a lot of people are agreeing that the current Abyss cycle is a lot easier than the last one because there's no boss with RNG moves or stages of DMG immunity like the Ruin Serpent or Cyro hippo. If you run a perma freeze team for the first half of floor 12 you can freeze the vishaps in place to grind them down easily then Rational team on the second half, Floor 12 becomes a cake walk. You can sub 1 minute each chamber pretty easily. There's absolutely zero need for dendro in the Abyss right now unless you really want to.
Taking Kazuha in the first half and Xingqiu in the second with yeal would have been way faster....personally i did that and it was very easy for me this abyss is too easy
I actually decided to try and beat this abyss (just get to and beat floor 12 for achievement) even tho my characters are kinda weak for abyss I was stuck at the damn geovishap and honestly I just give up
International first half and Raiden taser second half got me an easy 9 star for floor 12. Taser is probably my favorite team in the game. It’s sooo satisfying to see these bosses’ health bar get chipped away so quickly. It’s like you’re downloading a large file with high speed internet and the bar fills up quickly.
got to 36* using double hydro hu tao in the first half and hyper raiden in the second half. i tried swapping teams because the raiden team is much better for aoe but those goddamn vishaps get staggered so far that it was annoying to play and took far longer. also, the double hydro buff worked wonders for hu tao. like holy shit...

Sometimes I forget abyss exists, which is weird for an endgame player.
Perma freeze would be the best for the first half of Floor 12. Especially with enemies that can be knocked back like the Vishaps.

International first half and Raiden taser second half got me an easy 9 star for floor 12. Taser is probably my favorite team in the game. It’s sooo satisfying to see these bosses’ health bar get chipped away so quickly. It’s like you’re downloading a large file with high speed internet and the bar fills up quickly.
got to 36* using double hydro hu tao in the first half and hyper raiden in the second half. i tried swapping teams because the raiden team is much better for aoe but those goddamn vishaps get staggered so far that it was annoying to play and took far longer.
also, the double hydro buff worked wonders for hu tao. like holy shit...
