Same, also every crimson witch piece from there has had a Crit stat, unlike the domain which I only really spent maybe 400 resin in but got nothing for it. I've only gotten 6 pieces from the Crimson strongbox but I got enough for a 4 piece crimson which is about the same strength as my 4 piece shimenawa even though my crimson set is half-leveled.

This is such an improvement. I cried tears of joy knowing i could finally trade my Lavawalker, Thundersoother and unwanted Maiden Beloved for any of the more Offensive Artifacts like Viredescent, and much more. Down the line i hope they add Deepwood or Gilded Dreams to the mix.
Deep wood and gilded dreams would be add way more later considering they still havent add the tenacity and pale flame domain yet and havent even added inazuma artifact strong boxes

I'm part of the people that first thought that this is a scam - because you're merely thinking of it at an exchange value of 1 artifact = 3 artifact. If you measure it by resin, it does look like it's a scam and waste. However if you really think about it, the mere fact that it will give you the specific artifact you are farming for, then it's already a win. Especially to domain like VV were Maiden is absolutely useless in game because of Clam set. Eventually you'll end up with so much useless 5* fodder that it's better to exchange them rather that just keep turning them to EXP. Unless you're farming for both the set - then just use the strongbox.
Moga's artifact standard is absolutely insane(ly inconsistent) Like he would see a potential artifact that might roll really well at +4 but it would get dismissed immediately. He would then proceed to use artifacts with less than 20 CV lol.
The chance of getting def/hp/atk on a goblet is now lower because of the dendro, but the chances of getting dmg type goblet hasn't changed. Maybe I'm wrong, but smth was said in the patchnote
I got some decent bloodstained for Xinyan a century ago and not anything good ever again. I've fed it half of my inventory since the update and Childe is still crying
i’ve been farming vv domain for ages and eventually gave up because i couldn’t get any em main star for sands or circlet. used the strong box for the first time and got em sands with double crit
For note if anyone think it's a scam, strongbox is used for passive farming. Unless you want to spend 2 million resin doing domains where you only need one set(noblesse/bloodstained, viridesent/maiden, crimson/lava, etc). Unless you're that confident in your luck, then just use the strongbox. Only use resin if you need both sets
I have built my whole Ganyu from strongbox artifact's , wanderers 57 cr and 195 cd , Amos bow. Same for my yae's gladiator artifacts both have 9 cr and 21 cd
definitely not a scam but it does take a lot. I strongboxed every bad artifact i had for wanderers when ganyu came out, my ganyu stats are amazing because of it but it takes a LOT of resources
even tho strongbox is a scam, you can use all the trash from your inventory in the strongbox to get trashy artifacts of the set you want, rather than trying to farm inside the domain and get 4 condensed resin worth of the other set that you don't want. I need to farm some artifacts for my future ganyu and i think ill probably farm blizzard strayer domain and then use the trash in the blizzard strongbox. tho i cant decide between blizzard strongbox or wanderers strongbox. both my blizz and wanderers suck
Man, im busy farming for Dehya, Collei and Dendro-Traveler... And using the new artifact dungeon with the strongbox is a great way of farming all the artifacts i need Now to get good ones :D
These strong boxes have built my fischl. So many good artifacts. The double crit isn't even that rare. I just need the crit rare rolls and an electro dmg peice now and I kinda wanna finish this with the strong box as well

It was never a waste, it was a do you want to re-roll shit arts for noblesse pieces. Which for me was lucky it came first as it was never a domain I farmed early. Just a 4pc is enough when you still need to farm multiple dps characters main set
So many of my best pieces have come from strongbox, i got a er vv sands with 18.7 cr and 12.4 cd, i got an entire second em vv set for my sucrose and a 49 cv em circlet for my kazuha
does anyone know who uses an er vv sands? i just have it on my xq as an off piece for now, my kazuha and sucrose dont have er problems so im not sure what to do with it
Strongbox is definitely rng heavy but i have gotten some really good artifacts out of it. And with more sets now it's possible to fark more on the sake amount of resin
If it's a scam, please tell me what else I can use 5 star artifacts on, I legit have no reason to keep triple bad stat 5 star artifacts and if you tell me I should use them as fodder... why do that when I have a chance at better stat artis in the strongbox?

The strongbox, even before the update gave me an wanderers flower....and It rolled all into em...like 103 em on a flower 😀 I never saw this before but the sad part is, I got no character who can use it cause my venti and kazuha already have an offpiece 🥲
