  • The UEFA EURO 2024 final will be played on Sunday 14 July, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 CET.
The match will take place at Olympiastadion Berlin, the biggest stadium at the tournament with a capacity of 71,000. German second-tier side Hertha BSC Berlin play their home matches at the stadium, which has also staged every German Cup final since 1985 as well as several high-profile European and international games, most notably the 2006 FIFA World Cup final between Italy and France and the 2015 UEFA Champions League final, in which Barcelona beat Juventus.
This will be the first time that Olympiastadion Berlin has staged a EURO final. West Germany hosted the 1988 UEFA European Championship but the final was held in Munich, with Netherlands beating USSR 2-0.
Berlin's Olympic Stadium - or Olympiastadion - was built for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games in the German capital, and Hertha have called it home since their first Bundesliga season in 1963. It has hosted the DFB Cup final every year since 1985 and was the venue for the 2006 FIFA World Cup final as Italy triumphed over France. The 2015 UEFA Champions League final between Barcelona and Juventus was also played there. Now part of the wider Olympiapark Berlin, the 74,475-capacity venue is the third-largest in Germany after Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park and Munich’s Allianz Arena. It was the venue at which Usain Bolt broke the 100 and 200 metre world records in 2009 and will again be the site of history in 2024 when it hosts the final on 14 July.
