Watching Jagger and Robards in their abortive takes for Fitzcarraldo makes you realise that, although Klaus Kinski was a total maniac and an unspeakable person, he was an astonishing actor.
I agree with Roger on “Firefox” as I enjoyed the setup leading to the steal of the plane. First half felt like a spy film and the second as an exciting chase in the skies. I usually find that Clint Eastwood delivers. Great Maurice Jarre score as well. 👍
Disagree with Siskel,,,Firefox had a great build up to get to and steal the plane which was the main part of the plot..If there was to much time spent flying around,,then it would start to drag

He really was. Only Kinski could have portrayed the lunatics that appeared in Herzog's films.
Great show and remember this episode when it first aired as I watched the show since the late 70s,,,Firefox was an excellent movie!!!
