Gotta say I'm loving these retro reviews. It's so easy to get into FOMO with newest Gundam kits but it's easy to forget that there's a lot of old stuff out there that is definitely worth checking out if you manage your expectations. I've been really out of gunpla for the past covid years because not many kits were that interesting (plus the fact that they're always unavailable locally) so it's great to know that there's stuff worth coming back to
I remember getting this unit for 40USD as my very first private transaction Gunpla purchase on the 4th of July. Its my 6th overall gunpla kit ever built and boy did it not disappoint me at all for something that transforms. Wish the rifle were adjustable like the Zeta's itself, but that is something where they cut costs on for this unit. For the most, it can stand up on its own 2 feet and pose extremely well. To get the best out of it, ya have to have all of the other Unicorn and UC kit's weapons to get the most out of it. But still a Great kit if ya can find it for the right price for which ya mod with the Mega Launcher from the Commander type if ya wanted the Commander type to not have that equipped onto it as shown in the OVA's 2nd part. The Commander type on the other hand, ya need an action for that as the Mega Launcher is too heavy for it to stand on its own.
I absolutely fell in love with the Rezel when it first appeared in Unicorn. The HGs and definitely the MG did the mobile suit very well. I will say it’s a nightmare when first transforming the kit since the instructions aren’t the best.
Amazing review. I really regret not getting the 3 Rezel Units and the Delta Plus around early 2010's but this time I will make sure to get all 4 so they can pose alongside with my Zeta 2.0 I already have the Delta Plus and 3 more!
Commander version is my favourite, I love the asymmetry of the launcher on the one shoulder and the bigger wings make MA form look even better. Just wish bandai would reissue it already :(
Awesome review! Thank you for making this, i just got this not too long ago as my first MG kit, and i could not for the life of me, find anyone who did a review on it! I was also a bit disappointed with not being able to pose the legs in a widespread position, but i makes sense now, because of the transformation. Cheers!
Idk why the kit tells you to remlve the hands when transforming it, i mean it stick out the back and doesnt get in the way. Anyways great kit and review.
Awesome video! This is a super super long shot but it seems too coincidental not to ask... I assume your gonna use waterslides for the decals on your diorama and I remember in older videos you used to give away the sticker and dry transfer decals. I actually got this kit not too long ago and everything is great with it but it didnt come with the decals! Obviously I could order the waterslides for it myself but I try to keep all of my kits pretty uniform and all of my MG unicorn kits use the in-box dry transfers and sticker decals. It drives me nuts that I cant find them on ebay or anything. Obviously, super super lofty request, but just worth a shot. Love your videos and the gunpla community. Building my dream gundam room in my first apartment as I watch this video.
I haven't watched Unicorn yet, but I see a resemblance between this and the Methuss from Zeta. It is a huge upgrade to the Methuss which I always thought was a hideous design.
now I have the rezel commander type but it is a really solid kit and I od mean solid unlike say the zeta 2.0 the rezel's are more stable for what they are wonder if we'll get a possible mg methuess from this?
I think the Rezel is actually pretty underrated as a grunt suit. It looks pretty cool. I slept on it for a long time but slowly I came to love it and the commander version more.
Funny how I just built this kit as well earlier this week. Great build, tight joints, holds poses incredibly well. Planning on posing in Waverider form with my Jegan D-Type and Stark Jegan.

Exactly, i also understand complaining about the lack of new MGs but if you look back there are so many great ones already
Another banger by ZakuAurelius, another video to the MG Review-playlist! 💪
Glad you liked it!
I'm really digging these retrospective reviews. Definitely would love to see this be a continuing series.
Best gimmick, The Carry Dangus
man mg unicorn kits just look SO good

I love how you can see the clear lineage from the zeta/ZZ. Same color scheme as the Mk V. Love it
Rezel one of mine loved kit from Unicorn Stage.
the ReZEL is meant to be a hybrid between a Zeta and a Methuss.

No wonder the 3 Rezel units are so hard to find on normal price.
Thank goodness they did reissue of Delta Plus and got it cheap.

Impressive unboxing, love the ReZEL's design! 🚀👌
Big fan of the A/B Defenser Type C, love the big guns and the wings/guns help the wave rider feel so much cooler.
Can’t wait to see you customize this 👍👍👍👍
I’ve got the white and orange one with all the missiles
Thanks, as always for reviewing this.
It's pretty underrated. I have one but I don't think I ever reposed or played with it once I got it on my shelf 😂
Could you review the In Era Thunderbolt 1/100? Would really love to hear your opinion on that kit.
On my wishlist for a long time
Finally purchased a few years ago
Been in my backlog ever since

Looks awesome

Like the zeta the beam saber can fit the gun
The ReZel is definitely a cool design, though the Commander Type looks better between the two.
love the rezel!

Yeah I can’t bring myself to like the Methus 😆

This kit is good but had trouble on the backpack almost broke it but other than that its a good kit
Are you still accepting entries into the toys and tank contest?
Absolutely!
HG Saviour Gundam next

😎👍🏼
Yet another kit on my wishlist...
The Commander version was the MG that got me into MGs and transforming kits in general, and that giant shoulder cannon is my favorite part about it.
That review will be coming up next week!
This is a pretty nice kit but I definitely prefer the Commander Type. This one looks a bit plain in comparison.
